2mm Round 12/0 Size Almost Uniform Seed Beads for Making Earring, About 20000pcs in Box 24 Colors Opaque Pearl Color Small Seed Beads (850pcs/Color, 24 Colors)

I like these beads, many of which are only subtly different in color. If only they were in tiny bags like many beads are. For some reason there is a lot of static electricity when you open the case and the colors 'jump' into different compartments. It's frustrating to bead a bracelet and then see that there's one bead of a different color. But as I said, they are pretty beads, very nice colors, and I like the beads themselves.

I do different crafts with beads. Jewelry, felt crafting, knitting and sewing. This set which arrived very neat and tidy will help me fill in the gaps when I am looking for a certain color in the opaque. I felt at the price of 12.99 delivered to my door was a bargain for getting a selection of color. It arrived in perfect condition, included a beading needle and some kind of thread or cording which I am not sure what it is suppose to be used for as it is not the stretchy cord, but since I craft I will find use for it at some point in time. They are a little more shiny than what I expected and I wondered if they were painted. I tested a few of the colors to see if it rubbed off but so far they are good. At this point in time I am pleased.

These are nice beads for the money. If you're just learning or have a young person in your life with an interest in beading, then I can recommend this set. If you're an experienced beader and fine detail and precision are important then I'd suggest going with miyuki or toho. In my photo you can see the size and uniformity differences. The purple on the left are the bala beads (12/o), the bronze on the right are miyuki (11/o). Both examples are peyote stitch with the same number of rows and beads per row. Not only are the balas much larger than what a 12/o should be, they don't lay as well due to not being uniform or consistent. The storage box is very nice and I really appreciated that each color was in it's own ziplock bag. No one wants to sort beads that were all mixed during the shipping process. I will still find uses for these, but I wouldn't gift any jewelry I make with these or sell any either. That said for practice or working out designs, these will work and they are very pretty colors. If the sizes were more consistent and the bead more uniform, they'd be pretty much perfect.

Unfortunately the case had a big shatter in the middle of the lid. I just used packaging tape to seal it, since I didn’t want to bother with return shipping. Additionally, even if it hadn’t been shattered, it also doesn’t seem to have a tight seal for the lid and the lips of the bead sections. The beads are VERY small, which is perfect for small earring making, but that also means that the lack of a tight seal can lead to spillover.Looking forward to using the beads, just wish they came in a sturdier case!

Out of all the different beads I have purchased this brand and seller has the nicest of all. They are ALWAYS the same color every time I buy them. They are never broken nor misshapen or just sad little 'balls' as I have gotten with other sellers. I highly recommend this brand to everyone. Great quality. This bead collection is awesome! I love all the colors and the case they come in is great! I would but then again and highly recommend them! Great value for the price!

Beautiful colors I’m new at beading as I actually did this over 20plus years ago and the prices are sadly more if purchasing in a bead store I’ve been purchasing several of these mixed colored boxes in several sizes as my quality of work and more I come comfortable in this fun craft again it’s a great distraction of being homebound as everyone else as well recovering from surgery so I’m very pleases once again amazon gives me confidence purchasing anything in my crafting I need charms to beads!!! it’s a great one stop for just about all your crafting needs thank you again amazon

** UPDATE **I started the return process on Saturday morning for the wrong beads we received and decided to take a chance and ask for a replacement item to be sent. We got the correct item on Sunday afternoon! All is good. Thanks!I ordered the 24 color set and I only ended up getting 18 colors. In addition it said opaque beads which shouldn’t have a shiny tint to it. Very disappointed.
