RAGGTOPP Fabric & Vinyl Convertible Top Cleaner

Worked well, but one bottle was not enough to clean the faux canvas convertible top on my 2004 Lincoln Town Car. Had to order second bottle to finish the job.

this product makes a difference with convertible tops - looks much cleaner after using it. Relatively easy to use.

I purchased this product, as well as Forever Black dye kit and the RaggTopp protectant. Bottom line, the cleaner worked so well I didn’t need the dye kit. Water stains, dirt, etc we’re all completely gone with one cleaning.

Product is OK. That said I have a 2020 ND Miata MX-5 and it took almost half a bottle to do just a light cleaning. I probably should have let it set for longer than 10 minutes because some light marks on the ragtop remained. But it’s a little expensive to barely get 1 clean out of 1 bottle. I certainly couldn’t get 2 cleans, and this is a small ragtop - as small as they come! Only chose this as its recommended by Haartz, which is the manufacturer of ND Miata ragtops. It’s clearly a super mild cleaner though. And yes, I mechanically scrubbed it with the required brush before I let it set. Maybe I’ll try to let it set for 20 minutes next time. Just didn’t want the product to start drying. I did this in 100% shade on a 72F day, but even after soaking my top with clean water first, it seems like it started to dry after 10 minutes. Anyway, that’s my experience with it.

I use this on my vinyl convertible tops and vinyl upholstery. It cleans well but be sure to rinse per the instructions to avoid sticky residue.

VERY MILDEW STAINED CLOTHTOP. no pic. Stuff works. Wet it with water. Hit it w the cleaner. Agitate w brush. Add hydrogen peroxide 3%. Agitate again keeping it wet with mist. Add dish soap, really diluted. Hand masage it in misting to keep it wet. If a mildew stain remains use a toothbrush and this product as a spot treatment. Rince it all off... it works..

I have been using RaggTopp for about 6 years now. I first started using it when I replaced the top on an older car I had purchased. Now, I am using it on a 2016 model convertible. It is very easy to use and works as it says it does. It keeps the top looking new. I use it on black tops, and neither have experienced fading. I have recommended this product and will continue to recommend it.

I wish I had a before and after photo. Our tan convertible top was almost entirely black with dirt, mold and mildew after being left outside in FL all summer.It looks like new after using this product. We had to apply a second application...used up the container, and with a little elbow grease it is just great.

Excellent product. My Jeep top was so dirty I couldn’t clean mud stains off using a pressure washer. Used this cleaner followed by the protectant, top now looks new.

good product does what it say's and more, will recomend this product to my freinds and relatives as it is a great product

Hi, I must say that product in an unconventional way. I live in Québec and the winter is hard for the plastic parts inside the car. I was told that this cleaner is quite good for cleaning snow mixed with salt, yes that brownish dirt, you bring mainly with your boots. It's true: just spray a very little quantity on a sponge and swipe once. The dirt is gone. My advise, don't use another stuff before, because the RaggTopp wil then fail.
