Sous Vide like this makes you a great cook
The media could not be loaded. I knew what Sous Vide cooking was, but had never done it before, so I would like to give it a try. I bought this machine last weekend. I cooked 3 Rib-eye steaks medium rare, the meat came out perfectly cooked from end to end. I put some seasoning on the steaks and it was fantastic. the meat was ready to eat. It's also easy to connect to WiFi too. You can download the apps very simply too. I set this up on my home WiFi. You don't need the app to operate it, but I found it easier to monitor from my phone. I also found that I got a better infusion of flavor by seasoning/marinading and then cooking the food, vs seasoning after it was cooked during the searing process. I would highly recommend this product to others

Good for price
We don't like is the app - not really easy to use and it seems we have to scan the QR code each time we want to use it. A bummer because I chose this sous vide because there was an app and we could control it from our phone, but you get what you pay for in this respect...Other than the app, this is a really great sous vide cooker for the price and we use it just about every day.

The setup will make you pull your hair out!
Holy crap this thing is complicated and horrible to use. Almost smashed it on the counter with how frustrated it made me trying to set it up before the wife took it from my hands. You have to have a 2.4Ghz wifi connection(not a 5Ghz connection like every wifi router on the market). The only instructions it has on this is to have your router technician come change it for you. SERIOUSLY?!?! It wants me to have our router company send out a tech to work on this to get kt set it up?? No other helpful information in the manual at all.It tells you to push the settings button until you hear a "di-di" sound and then the wifi icon will flash rapidly. Well the thing makes a "di-di-di" sound(no idea if that right or not, does the flashy wifi icon thing, and then F*&# all. Doesn't connect. Doesn't matter how many times you do it.No help in the booklet, no tips for if there is a problem. Just nothing. Why would a company make this? Why would you not have it be 5Ghz? Or at least work on a network that has both without needing me to call our router company to send over a technician to switch the router to make it work! Absolute crap.

Perfect juicy meat
I've been wanting a sous vide for years, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. This one was a great price so I bit the bullet. It's great! I made a pork loin with it that turned out super juicy and flavorful. I was worried that the larger cut of meat wouldn't cook all the way through, but I used my meat thermometer after browning it, and it was the exact temperature I wanted. I definitely recommend this product.

My first sous vide
First sous vide I've owned and its great. Extremely easy to use. Have done steaks, salmon and chicken and the meat is perfect. Sirloins could have passed as filet. Did some asparagus and it was good, usually prepare in oven and this had a more steamed texture but the flavors are well retained in everything. If looking to try sous vide you should, not disappointed and can't imagine I'll ever cook steaks any other way again. Meat is best pan searing to finish. Plenty of recipes online and I'm happy with this purchase for my first sous vide...and honestly not sure what more expensive unit do differently. Hot water is hot water. Also this unit circulates the water. I wasn't sure when I bought if it did. Lastly makes meal prep easy. You can vacuum seal some meals and pull them out during the week. This isn't quick cooking (1-2 hrs) but very easy. Especially cleanup.

Impressive and Low Cost Sous Vide Cooker With Some Issues To Consider
This is review of my first sous vide cooker and my first meal. So, it's a little early to comment on its durability. Overall it's very impressive. I initially tested it in a medium size pot without any food to validate its accuracy. My unit was dead on against several good digital thermometers. My first cook was a Pork Chop that I cooked for a little over an hour. I also set up a digital thermometer to monitor temperature. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it held the temperature in a medium size pot throughout the cooking time. The circulator was reasonably quite and very effective in the pot. Will try it with larger containers and larger cuts of meat in the future and revisit this review if anything changes. So, why only 3 stars? The cons:The instruction manual, while ok for a Chinese made product, lacked any instructions on how to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. After some experimentation I found it... you need to hit the down arrow after starting.I couldn't fine the app for my Android tablet. Apparently, it's only available for Android phones? The company may be out of business. There is a sticker on the unit with an email address for the company, that is not valid. I tried doing a search for the company, but, could not find a website. Also, I tried the email address on the Amazon web page for support. While the address is valid... no one responds. So, if it lasts it was a great buy, if not... you are on your own. So much for "1 year warranty and lifetime technical support"

Super easy to use
First time using a sous vide for my steak and it came out perfect. Have not tried other units before, but this one is super easy. You can even schedule when it starts from your phone.

Not a fan
It would never connect to WiFi and you can’t do anything unless it connects to WiFi. Returned and got a replacement and had the same outcome. Wound up getting a refund and bought another brand that actually works
