Ordered 2, only got 1 flashlight. Everything was trashed before sent to me. See pictures.4/18/16 UPDATE: I am changing my review to 5 Stars. The headlight works very well, and the settings are outstanding. The bright is very bright. And, it has a lower wattage setting to save batteries. The flashing red or white (your choice) is a great idea in the event you need to send a help signal. I'm changing my original review because I have since been able to use the headlamp and can tell you it works very well. Here is an even better reason for 5 STARS. I had full support from MyRoii's Customer Satisfaction Rep, Michelle, from the moment I originally rated this product 3 stars. The same day, she took steps to resolve the issues I had with the shipment. And, check this out, I even recieved an email directly from one of the owners at MyRoii asking about experience and he stated he would do anything to guarantee my happiness. I'm blown away by the outstanding customer support from MyRoii. They sent me a new headlamp, and this one did include the special gift of the mini-flashlight. I purchased this headlamp for use while hiking in the Grand Canyon in case we were out on trails after dark. Luckily, we had no unforeseen issues that required us to use the lights. While that is a good thing, I have not been able to test the lights fully. I have another headlamp that I can compare it to and this headlamp is much more comfortable to wear. Also, the light output is brighter. I think this headlamp would have worked without issue if needed. Unfortunately, I was not able to test how long the light would operate with the vendor supplied batteries. From my somewhat limited hands-on comparison, I feel that this is a good headlight and a great value for the price. Compared to other alternatives, I would recommend this light * with the caveat of testing the runtime.

Low price point gets what you would expect. This is a nice headlamp, solid build and comfortable to wear. Not as bright as some others but it cost less than those. For the most part this light will be bright enough for most uses. I find with the brighter models I have to turn it down to a lower setting anyway in order to not induce night blindness. I think it is best to acclimate to the least light you need to see safely. This unit exceeds that standard by a long shot. It actually came with a "useful" wrist band. Not the usual rubber band that has little or no use. This band is a really nice wide yellow reflector slap band that fits any size wrist, arm, or ankle. So you can easily be seen at night. This is actually a useful safety device, a nice touch. If your tired of spending a lot on headlamps that fail eventually, this lamp makes sense. You can purchase two for less than a major brand headlamp.

i just wanted a bright headlamp for taking the dogs out at night so i don't use any of the flashing or red light options. i don't know if this is the brightest headlamp on the market, but it is brighter than the one i've been using and the price is great. i don't like the button set-up as much as my old headlamp but the reason is because this lamp has a lot more option. once you figure it out, it's not a problem but it is more involved than just on/off.so based on price, ease of use and what you get - this is a great headlamp

Headlamp works as advertised. I use it as an extra light while riding my bicycle and the 50% white beam is enough light and is supposedly the best position for longer battery life. Nice to be able to turn my head and the light follows which is a great addition to the fixed handlebar mounted light. So on full beam this light is very bright. The red LED's are not bright and I am not sure the thought behind these, however I did not buy the light for these red LED's anyway. Strap fits snugly around head and no need for any adjustments as it seems to stay put. I think this is a good product for the price paid.

All my testing so far has been great. The main beam is super bright, the low is nice, the strobe gets attention easily and is red or white, and the red LEDs give enough light to do close work in the dark. The light pivots downward with detents to hold the chosen position which helps in the dark to concentrate the beam where you need it. I read reviews on everything I buy because they bring out some strengths and flaws that I find very useful in making my selections. One such tip on this light was that the switches were placed where they could accidentally be turned on in a pack so you should carry spare batteries. Knowing this I can plan to pack the light in a small hardside container (the unit is small) and thereby protect it solving the only forseeable problem it has. I have had several headlights and I really like this little guy. I'm glad I got it.

Wow for the price this headlamp is amazing! I've used it many times so far and it does exactly everything it says it will. The light is bright without being too blinding (why would you look right into it anyway?). The batteries last a long time in it and it's pretty comfortable too. The fact that you can adjust the angle is a lifesaver. I can work outside in the dark and have the light pointing directly down on what I'm doing. Awesome!

Basically I suppose I'm not the perfect outdoorsy type however I do a lot of crawling around under my house fixing things and walking the dogs late at night. This headlamp is extremely bright. It costs very little and 4 the light throw that it has, it is phenomenal. I can't say that I use the red LEDs but they would be perfect for map readings at night. If you don't get one of these foe everyone on your gift list, they will miss out. Much better than socks or a tie
