Roxbury Mountain Maple Cream, 16 Ounce

This spread is delicious! If you love the taste of maple, this is for you. I’m a fan of anything maple so I knew I had to try this and I wasn’t disappointed. The taste is similar to the maple candies out there- strong and delicious but not overpowering.Once opened it needs to be stored in the fridge which makes it more the consistency of butter than that of let’s say cream cheese, so dunking anything into it, like pretzels or fruit, is out of the question until it comes to room temperature. However, it’s perfect for what I like best: spread on a toasted bagel! Melts right in just as butter would, add a little cream cheese on top and you have the greatest breakfast! I used to take a cream cheesed bagel and dunk sections of it into a bowl of syrup, one bite at a time. This is so much better. I will definitely order again!The only reason for 4 stars in the value category is the price. To me it’s a condiment; while I will absolutely be ordering again, it’s so hard to let myself spend that on a condiment. But I will, because it is that good.

I am sure this is a quality produce, well packaged, etc. We were in New England this fall and regretted not buying maple butter. We sampled it and thought it was very good. I wanted to order some for us, and liked the reviews on your product. However, this is much more concentrated and very strong maple flavor. This is not a complaint, just now what I expected the product to be. I wonder if there is a way to "water it down" a little? Thanks, and do not post this as being a negative review for others to read. If anything, just list that it does have a concentrated maple flavor.

Excellent! Warning: maple cream is totally addictive. Once you've had it, life just isn't the same without it. Jelly and jam pale in comparison.I love maple cream and in the past always purchased it in NY State when I visited yearly. We would always run out between visits and my weekend breakfasts dimmed without it. I can't find it locally (I don't live in a "maple" state). I even looked into how to make it myself but the process looks challenging and decent maple syrup is very expensive. I was very happy to find it available on Amazon for a reasonable price (reasonable for maple cream that is).This brand has excellent intense maple flavor and is easy to spread. Sometimes there is a little separation which is fixed by stirring. The 1 pound jar lasts quite a while. The product will solidify when there is only a tiny bit left in the jar (it becomes maple candy!) but that's the nature of maple cream and not unique to this brand.One of the jars in my most recent shipment had a broken lid and the seal was breached. The company responded immediately when I contacted them and they processed a refund within 2 days (over a weekend). Occasional problems are inevitable when items are being shipped. The measure of good customer service is how a company responds when problems occur. I received excellent customer service and will continue to order this maple cream.

This is exactly what I was hoping to get! I have been looking for something to spice up my breakfast oatmeal. I have been using some cinnamon and natural sugar but I want a bit more flavor. I found this item while searching for maple flavoring. I wanted a product that was 100% maple syrup and not something that had additives. So the results: One teaspoon of this Maple Cream in place of the sugar was all it took to make bland oatmeal into a delicious tasty meal! I am very pleased with the end result as I am sure you will be too. Just as a reminder to all, this product is best used as a additive to provide maple flavoring and sweetness in place of equal amounts of sugar.

Growing up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, every fall our family would take a long, scenic drive to Taylors Falls and back to see the fall colors and to stop at apple orchards to buy apples and MAPLE CREAM! I loved this tradition and I adored maple cream. After moving out of Minnesota almost 20 years ago I could never find Maple Cream. Recently (it is fall after all) my father mentioned Maple Cream and I decided to see if I could get some on Amazon, I mean what can't you get on Amazon. I found the Roxbury Mountain Maple Cream and ordered some for my parents and myself. It is exactly as I remembered! My 14yr old daughter said "what IS that?," tasted it and tried to run off with the jar. I love to eat it on english muffins as it fills in the little holes with Maple creamy goodness. I will be ordering it again, although I probably won't wait until next fall!

I was not familiar with this and did not even know what to do with it, but it was listed in a recipe for sweet potatoes. I very, very quickly realized that what you do with this is 'eat it.' I bought three kinds to compare. The third kind has not arrived, but this so far outshines the other one. that I have received. in smoothness that I really don't think the one I am waiting for is going to match this. It is extremely smooth and addictive. Yet, it doesn't seem to make me feel bad as other sugars do when I over-indulge. This is definitely 2015 Christmas gifts. Starting with replacing my jar that I had to test and test and test.

Ah, maple cream, how do I love thee. I can eat you out of the jar with a spoon, I can put you on buttered toast, I can put you in a peanut butter sandwich, you are amazing as ice cream topping, cake frosting, stirred into oatmeal, just generally awesome.Seriously if you love maple syrup, this stuff is amazing.

I was born and bred in the New York Hudson Valley where real maple syrup is treasured. Even though warmer climes have drawn me in my middle age, maple syrup and anything made from it is a comfort food that instantly hearkens back to childhood memories of pouring it over steaming stacks of homemade pancakes and bowls of oatmeal and of school field trips to maple syrup farms. Roxbury Mountain Maple Cream brings back those memories... I just love it.
