Really wish they had a faucet hook up added to the product.

Unless you hook it up directly to a high pressure water source it is useless. It won't function by gravity fed water. When I tried to return the item they didn't issue a full refund. This is one hell of a way to treat an educational non-profit. I will NEVER buy from Science First again. They should change their name to ProfitFirst.

The buyer should note that the inlet is a 3/8 tube, not a faucet connection, but if you can attach a hose or faucet to the tube, then this works exactly as advertised. I got a 3/4 hose connector to a 3/8 barb and pulled the plastic tube over the barb to make it run. It does light up and everything on the unit works to demonstrate whatever you may want to demonstrate about water wheels.

terrific! just what my son wanted! totally usable in the sink or outside with a hose.
