Should be 4 1/2 stars but review doesn't allow for half stars.Pros: Bead size (8mm) are consistent.Caveat: as headline states, the beads are less pink than advertised photos show, so minus one star, AND I am satisfied that they are actually rose quarts beads.On the whole, happy with my purchase.

This are definitely glass. It’s disappointing.

Honestly I ordered from this company some months back, and the stones were beautifuland official. This time around they just honestly look like purple beads. The first picture is what I received today, in the second picture which is going to be a bracelet is what I received months back. And the last picture is me comparing both set of amethyst Stones together and I know you can see they look different. Not even going to try to request the return cuz, I just don't want to deal with that process but you'll have to do better.

So I put these beads to the test. I soaked them in warm water for over 24 hours. I added a teaspoon of vinegar. If these were dyed, the color would have bled into the water. So the debate is over! These beads are real. 24 hours later, the water was clear and the beads are in perfect condition.. Love these!

I bought the 8mm cacoxenite beads. They are lovely, genuine cacoxenite, within the amethyst matrix, well shaped and polished. The 1mm bore holes are consistent in size and smooth. So those of you who bead with cotton, silk, hemp or other natural threads do not have to worry about rough edges shreading the thread. I am pleased with this seller and their product. I will most likely buy from them again. Happy beading!
