For some first time consumers, the arrack chocolates may seem strange at first, or unidentifiable, which can lead to the conclusion that some are strange or 'off' in their flavor. Arrack is a distilled alcoholic drink typically produced in India, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia, made from the fermented sap of coconut flowers or sugarcane, and also with grain or fruit depending upon the country of origin. It is sometimes spelled arak. (wikipedia) Personally, I love all three flavors ...and arrak being my favorite!

I saw this treat on a podcast I enjoy, so I had to try it. It's so good in fact, it's in my top 5 favorite sweet treats. The best way I can describe it is... it's got the consistency of a chewy chocolate covered marshmallow, with the taste of a chocolatey covered toffee candy. I love it, definitely ordering more. I just wish it wasn't coming from the other side of the world. 👍👍 Two thumbs up!

Arrived in good condition, as expected since I ordered in the autumn. Tasty, and chewy, just as they should be.

Every few candies has an odd pungent chemical taste. Not sure why people like this.

I saw a podcast talk about how tasty these were so I decided to give them a go. I love the taste, but I could see someone chewing too hard and cracking a tooth.

Absolutely love the unique flavor of this chocolate treat. A bit pricey for the size but it is being shipped from Sweden, so I get it.
