I was careless when I ordered and did not notice that this were not Master® locks but an off brand. The quality is not the same as a genuine Master lock. The instructions are not in grammatically correct English, and are not correct in any event. It's only because I have similar Master locks that I was able to change the combination. It was my mistake and I will keep them but would not order from them again. I am already having trouble changing the combination from the one I set.

3 out of the 4 combo locks I purchased DID NOT work. The description says ‘Outdoor’, but that is not even written ANYWHERE on the lock itself! It only says ‘For luggage, travel, notebook, cabinet, drawer, ect.’ Not a typo, ‘ECT’. I regularly get great deals from Amazon, so I can’t say it’s a ‘get what you pay for’ scenario.The instructions are easy enough, but even the 1 lock that was able to set felt weak. The dials felt too rigid, I can’t imagine these lasting against outdoor elements. 2 locks would not close after setting and a 3rd was not able to set because the bottom dial would not budge while in ‘set mode’. Immediate return, no exchange.

Hoping for a good, long hasp lock, I took a chance on this less expensive model. Bad choice. Metal is thin, the combination mechanism froze on the first attempt to set a combination. Returned item for refund to get heftier lock. Perhaps these would work for light duty, such as a suitcase, but with a cumbersome combination mechanism, probably not worth getting.... sorry, I hate writing less than glowing feedback, but this is honest.

Only 1 lock worked after combo reset. The other lock would jam up and not lock. The packaging does NOT say for outdoor use, airplane/locker/ext.... Ok generic brand lock but would not trust it for outside usage. I am returning since one lock is useless and i need 2 identical outdoor locks

As many have stated they are NOT for outdoor use. The description is misleading online. Secondly, the combination will not reset on one of mine. I followed the instructions, even tried just going back to 0000, but it will not close now. When trying to set the lock, the bottom number doesn’t move at all, so you can’t truly set your code. I’m returning these and going to Home Depot to buy a proper lock.

Easy to lock and use but it is very small, shank is a bit longer than some but to shank itself is very small in diameter, smaller around than a pencil. I ordered it to lock my jack on my Jeep rack but I did not use it because it could have easily been taken off. I did use it for another purpose.

Lock is advertised as "outdoor" but when it arrives it clearly states on the packaging "fashion security." And lists uses as "travel" "office" and "family"I can't speak to whether or not it would last in an outdoor environment because based on the packaging and fragile nature of the lock I immediately returned it. In my opinion after handling the product there is simply no way this lock would last for any reasonable amount of time in an outdoor environment.

Obviously designed to keep honest folks that way. Not really a very sturdy lock works fine for me it keeps the dogs from unlatching a gate
