X96 Android 11.0 TV Box，Support Dual WiFi 2.4G/5.8GB BT4.2 H.265 AV1 HDR10+ 4K 8K with Air Mouse Voice Remote

If you are like me, you have probably gone through junk boxes that do not perform anywhere near as good as they claim. They are slow, glitch, hardware doesn't match specs, etc. **BUT NOT THIS BOX!! ** At least the one that I bought from the current seller, out performs any box that I have gotten before. The full gig ethernet port is essential and works perfectly. The antenna(s?) also work great, but I hardwired this to my router. I have ultra high speed internet of 600 mbps download and this box wired to the router is testing ~590mbps down. In regards to pure speed, this device out performs every other device/computer that I own and did wire testing on. 4k streaming is no problem even over wifi (~300+ mbps), but it is nice to have this wired, so that it isn't eating up wifi that other devices are using. Things can be spotty with these boxes from China, so I possibly got lucky but wanted to review this quickly, just in case this is a particularly good batch of boxes. I have only had this 3 days when writing this review, so if things go bad, I will come back to modify the review. But this is performing so well and is so sturdy, that I really don't expect issues.

This is about the 5th Android TV box I've purchased. I placed the box in my bedroom. My 2 older boxes that I placed in the bedroom, the speed would only get 50mbps at most. When I hooked this box up I immediately and consistently keep getting speed between 142-152mbps. Unfortunately you get the standard remote which just doesn't work well. Get one of the mini remotes with a keyboard and small finger mouse pad.

I was able to load the apps that I wanted relatively easy and set things up the way I preferred. Setup instructions are included but actual operating directions are sparse to none.The remote control is no help. I tried to uninstall one app. I can drag it to the trashcan icon but that's it. The OK button does nothing to complete the uninstall.Tried the FOTA update several time before getting it to work. Again, the update option was there in front of me but several presses on the OK button got nothing.I downloaded a VPN app. When I open it, I'm stuck on it's home screen because the remote will do zero when I attempt to toggle between options to sign into my account.I think the box itself will work out nicely if I can get the remote control issues addressed. If not, I bought a 2 year warranty and it'll go back.Update: I’m very happy with the box for use with IPTV apps. Love having built in Google Play Store instead of sideloading apps or looking for other back door methods to get what I need like I had to on Fire Stick. The vendor did offer useful suggestions for uninstalling apps.However, still not impressed with the remote control. The vendor’s response was basically to try some other remote. Translation: buy something different and see if it works. I like the box enough that I don’t want to return it because I’ve set it up for my needs so I will try another inexpensive remote.

This tv box is great, out of the box you are ready to go. I have owned many in my years, I consider myself a computer geek and I hardly ever review anything. BUT FOR YOU VIEWERS, this is a must buy if you are looking for speed with no buffering. Me and the wife watch 3D movies on it with our 3D tv and it is AMAZING!!! picture quality is very nice. TRUST ME ON THIS>>> super fast, super easy to navigate, you will enjoy this product.

Primarily purchased for the expanded memory as an alternative to the Amazon Fire TV Stick, which has limited memory capability, to record and store video content. Memory was increased with the use of a USB flash drive.However, this unit has been undependable for recording programs as it inadvertently shuts off by itself in the middle of recording and even while viewing live programs. The screen will black out with the front-panel display still active and no buttons on the remote control will return it to normal operation: the power must be disconnected and the box restarted.The display is erratic as different colors will flash on the display during viewing and motion appears choppy and stuttered. Switching to the Amazon Fire TV Stick, the same content in the same application is smooth, not hindering the video viewing experience as does this box.The remote control interferes with the TCL TV to which the box is connected. Certain areas of the display require use of the “mouse” function of the remote but when the mouse button is pressed, it causes TV menus to display which are difficult to remove and renders the “mouse” function inoperable. Also, when the box is powered off from the remote, use of the TV’s remote turns the box back on. The only way to keep the box powered off is to disconnect the AC adapter. This prompted the purchase of a 3rd party remote with a trackpad and mouse buttons, which alleviated some but not all of the problems as it is still difficult to control.I consider this unusable item a bad investment and a waste of money.Addendum: This unit has now ceased functioning, showing only the initial splash screen and no manner of reset will recover its uselessness. It was a disappointing purchase but, unfortunately, the return period allowed by Amazon has expired so the box currently resides in a “broken electronics box”. Message to anyone looking for an Android TV Box: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

The media could not be loaded. Well this product awesome. I’m not a big fan of Android but this box suprised me so much. It is extremely easy to use, setup and to operate. The box is extremely fast and very reliable. Netflix and all the other applications runs super clear and smooth. The quality is excellent!I highly recommend this product and the service is very good!

Worked great and really loved how easy it was to use once set up for 3-4 weeks, then started freezing and screeching daily, getting worse each day. We thought it may have been the internet or our TV at first so we didn’t return it, but we have now ruled everything out and are outside the return window. Not worth the money of it will only last a month.
