For the money, this is a great kit to start with.
I have been needing some tools for leatherwork for sometime now. Apparently, borrowing them from family for 50+ years is considered wrong. So off I searched for a kit that would not break the bank, yet give me quality tools at a reasonable price. This kit offers more tools than most kits at a very affordable price. I have tried all of the tools and found them to be of good quality. If you are looking for a good entry-level leather tool kit, then pick this with one. Great quality, great price.

Phenomenal kit to start a leathercraft kit
A huge amount of tooling and basic kit for leathercrafts. Very surprised with the quality of the 2 larger shears (scissors). I was able to cut quadruple thick leather with minimal shifting or pushing of material. Very sharp and heavy-duty. If I need to introduce someone else to the craft, I'll point them here first. Great Buy.

Very good starting kit, flimsy case.
I received the item with everything inside as it was described. I like the number of stamps it has and some of the tools I am learning about. The only issue I had is that I received the package with pieces of the tool box broken and put inside of the case. One of the clamps to close the tool box was also off and very cheap. I also had an incident with a rolling tool that was completely bent and some of the blades broken off. Overall not bad for the price to learn this craft. Just prepared to buy another case.

Great kit for someone trying to learn.
I have a friend that is into leather working. After I saw the amazing purse she was able to made it sparked an interest. I searched for awhile and found this kit. The price was reasonable for how many tools you get. And it came in a neat carrying case and comes with a small working surface mat! From what I can tell the tools are pretty solid. Great kit for someone trying to learn! I ordered some leather pieces and can't wait to start crafting!!

Compact, a wide variety of tools all organized in a great case
We bought this product for our 14 year old grandson who has had a few basic tools. He was so excited about this kit. He said it had everything he needed and was so excited to do some projects. We loved how it came in a nice case to help him keep his things organized. We looked at many other kits and this had the best variety of tools and for a much more reasonable price that others. Very pleased.

Great Kit to get you started
You want to get your feet wet without spending a ton of money for the tools? This is the kit that got me started. Its not a bunch of professional style tools but it is the basics to give you a good idea how to use the tools.

Expect to replace primary tools soon.
Some of the tools are very low quality and not even worthy of keeping. Others are decent and can make do. A few are workable and keepers.Mostly I would look at what is in this kit and purchase quality versions of the primary tools needed. However for just getting started from nothing. The kit does have a selection that makes very basic projects possible right away.

Good for Beginners
This is a decent entry level kit for leather working. Please be aware though, the snaps provided are poor quality. They are easily damaged and very weak in terms of staying snapped together. But overall this kit would be great for a beginner for learning technique and what tools/materials you want to upgrade.

Some tools not finished, very poor quality.
I like the variety of tools and to be fair it's not all bad. However, many of the tools provided are poorly machined to the point of not being even close to usable or finished. The edge beveler does not even have a cutting surface- it's like they forgot to make the slit that cuts. Other tools are blunt to the point of uselessness. The hammer and stick punchers are ok but overall very disappointed. For the price you could do much better than this - perhaps buying separate individual tools would be better.
