Updated review. After just a few used one of the handles came lose from one side and keeps popping out. It was not glued in as good as the other side apparently. I still use it, its a great size roller and works but it is frustrating when the handle pops back out and is of course un steady to roll with due to this issue.

Worked well for the dozen or so times I have used it over the last 6 months. One of the handles fell out. I find that it is still usable. I can jam the handle which fell out back into the socket and it holds snug and well enough. Annoyed by the fact that the handle fell out at all. I will be trying nail glue or wood glue to keep it stuck in the socket.

Received it 8/1/15, it is exactly the type of rolling pin I wanted. Stationary handle with the pin! I will be using it for Indian roti. But the piece I received has few scratched on the handles. Hopefully it won't be an issue. See pictures attached.

I wanted this product because I wanted a nice rolling pin where the middle did not move independently from the handles. People seemed to be commented that this was the case with this rolling pin and also in the pictures it looked that the pegs were IN the wood and would not move. When I received the rolling pin today, I found this this was not the case. The pegs are in metal slots (see picture) and the middle does move independently from the the handles. The ends look completely different from the picture advertised (there is no metal in any of those pictures, I triple checked). If this is what they're selling now, they should update the description and pictures to match what they are shipping out. I will be returning this rolling pin.

Quality looks good.Nut I consider it too short to make a pizza . The rolling length without the handles measures 8.1/2 inch only, quite small for a pizza size, maybe useful to make cookies.

Too expensive for what it is. The handles DO NOT roll - they are fixed. You can do better in the grocery store selection for less.

The handle came off the pin after a couple of uses. We nudged it back in, but is a constant problem.

What a great light weight rolling pin. I have used this on several types of dough and would buy it again.
