Terrific Product!
This is top quality ink. I will only use three brands of ink, and this one has the greatest variety of colors. The ink flows well in all fountain pens, inexpensive and expensive, equally well. The ink does not dry out too quickly in the nib, but does dry appropriately on the page. The colors are well saturated and balanced. This ink is not cheap measured by ML but the opportunity to purchase this half bottle size (30 ML) versus having to invest in a full size bottle (50 - 60 ML), makes it well worth buying a bottle to try.

Easy to read pink. Every day use.
Love this shade. I say it’s a rosy deep pink. When dripped you can see the green in this ink. It pairs beautifully with my green shades. Performs well. I can’t wait to get it in a better pen. It does great in this picky one so in a better performer I know it will shine. ❤️❤️❤️I love that this is pink but it’s not hard to read and it has beautiful shading and dries fast.

A Great Red For Every Day Use
This is currently my favorite red ink. And I'm kind of into reds, so that's saying something. It is deep, rich, and luxurious, without being flashy or opulent. This gem of an ink has subtle undertones of adventure, but remains composed and elegant in every situation. Slightly dry to the paper, but have never had a problem start.

Pretty color, but difficult to write with.
I'm using a dipping pen for the first time, so I bought J. Herbin fountain pen ink to practice with. I got the pink color. I used the Midori dip pen and this bottle of ink. On paper it was very light and the ink wouldn't flow as I thought it should. I thought I just needed more practice.I had also ordered from another website the Kaweco ink in the caramel brown color. This is when I noticed that it wasn't me, but the ink quality. There was a big difference. This is when I noticed that the J. Herbin ink dried up quickly too. Kaweco's ink flowed easily and I didn't have to dip as much.Again I'm a first time user, but I can see how this ink can maybe work for art projects. I wouldn't recommend it for writting or a fountain pen. It could be that maybe the extra fine nib doesn't compliment the ink too. I'm still learning.

good ink , small bottle.
it's a good, wet and water resistant ink. This became my preferred ink for all my writing. it's bad that it comes in weird bottle and my pens don't pick them up. every time I ink, I have to waste some ink.

Beautiful Dark Purple Ink
I have written with two Montlbanc 146 fountain pens for decades. And both of them leaked for decades. They would be repaired, and then be fine for a few years before leaking again. I mainly used Waterman and Diamine inks. Then I switched to Herbin Bleu Des Profondeurs. No more leaks!! This is a watery ink, but surprisingly deeply pigmented. I think the watery nature of the ink makes it less likely to leak in my Montblancs. There is a slight reddish sheen on Tomoe River paper, and no shading. The blue is so dark it almost black. I also have a Sailor pen that slightly leaks with Diamine ink, but not with Herbin inks.

Lovely tea-brown ink
Jacques Herbin has been making ink for hundreds of years. If you want a beautiful, tea-brown coloured ink for your fountain pen, I can definitely recommend this one.
