Wah Fastener� - Mount your wah pedal firmly and easily on your board. The StageTrix Wah Fastener� is our latest product we have shown at NAMM in 2012 and 2013. The concept was to offer a solution to mounting typical wahs like those classics from Crybaby and Vox. After the Wah Fastener has been road tested it is finally ready for prime time. The Wah Fastener has been designed to fit on any wah that has the traditional classic shape you instantly recognize from Cry Baby and Vox. The design allows you to use the same screws with which the rubber feet are secured to your wah. Simple remove screws form the rubber feet and optionally use the included washers and secure the to plates of the Wah Fastener to your favorite wah pedal. PLEASE NOTE: THE GRIP ON OUR WAH FASTENER IS REALLY STRONG, SO STRONG THAT IF YOU TRY TO REMOVE THE WAH FROM YOUR BOARD IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT THE WAH FASTENER MAY STAY CONNECTED TO THE BOARD AND NOT THE WAH. SOLUTION: TO REDUCE GRIP SLIDE A CREDIT CARD BETWEEN THE WAH FASTENER AND THE BOARD WHEN (RE)MOVING.

The StageTrix is two separate pieces that install very easily and leave easy access to the battery door
Works perfectly with my MXR MC404 wah. This wah has a battery door on the bottom so you can't use a full "slab" of wood or plastic across the bottom. It just won't fit right. The StageTrix is two separate pieces that install very easily and leave easy access to the battery door.My only issue is that the screws would not go in deep enough into the wah itself to hold the StageTrix pieces of wood/velcro in place fully. I emailed StageTrix direclty and asked if they could just send some more washers to me. They got them in the mail to me immediately and Wah-lah! All works well.

Great idea, works well, but not as rugged as I would like. A composite or plastic fastener would be better than the wood.

Be careful removing it from your board....
Mine broke at one of the screw holes after a few months. My wah goes on the board and stays on, unless I need to change a battery, which is what happened here. Pulled the wah off the board and a screw with a small piece of wood from the mounting hole was left behind. Seems like the wood where the screw attaches is too thin, and any stress on this point will cause it to break.

Excellent product! Easy to install and holds my Dunlop CAE Wah firmly to my custom West Coast Pedal Board.

I like this product
I like this product, but let me clarify. If your objective is to close up the case around your pedal board and count on any piece of velcro to hold a 3 pound wah pedal like my vox upside down or sideways without failing you will be disappointed. This product, or any other won't come close to doing that over time. One bump and the pedal is playing demolition derby with the rest of your pedals inside your case as you travel down the road from gig to gig.Then why the 4 stars? Hell, I almost gave it 5.The fastener allowed me to superglue the pedal (actually, the fastener) to my board without taking away the possibility that I could restore my pedal to its original condition.Now, my pedalboard can be held upside down and shaken. It is 100% secure.And truly, isn't that what our goal was in the first place?

After a few months of use, it breaks off at the screw holes.great idea... not so great in durability
