Either I just got a bad batch or the good reviews are a total lie...This mattress is the worst mattress I’ve ever seen...First off it came vacuum packaged (which I expected) however after giving it quite some time to expand back to its “normal” size it did not expand. It’s as thin as paper and as flimsy as cardboard. Not to mention it doesn’t fit it’s cover even the slightest bit. It came dirty with black marks all over it as shown in my photos and the mattress Is hard and stiff. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to sleep on this piece of cardboard...Extremely disappointed

This mattress is of good quality, and the cover is soft. My daughter really likes it! One thing was disappointing; the mattress is definitely not 5 inches thick. We took it out of the box and allowed it to regain it's shape, but it never got thicker than 3 inches.

Much better then those usually plastic feeling crib mattresses! I was surprised when it arrived in such a small box. But after unwrapping and letting the mattress absorb air i was reassured. Very soft, don’t even need a mattress cover. Also Really neat that the top part zips off and can be easily laundered if any accidents occur. I thought I was overpaying but actually got every pennies worth. I bought 2.

I don’t know why this product received some bad reviews. Here’s my experience. It arrived rolled up and compact. I flattened it out on the floor and I left it alone. In a short while, it became full and it fit perfectly into the crib. This mattress is very soft and plush memory foam. A mattress at BuyBuy Baby costs $200 for a good one. I paid roughly $65 for this mattress and it is of the BEST QUALITY. I’m a very happy customer.

Waited a couple days for this to fully inflate but it never looked as full and thick as these pictures. So it's just a regular mattress. Disappointed. The top part does zip off which is convenient for accidents. Just wash it.

This mattress is great. We transitioned from the travel crib to this as too often our daughter was waking and sleeping our bed. The mattress came rolled up I unpackaged there was NO offgassing smell I placed in crib and it was mostly reformed by the end of the day. We started using the crib day two. She has slept in her crib on this mattress everyday since. I cannot attest to water resistance as we have not had an accident yet and I bought a water resistant mattress pad also. Hope this helps!

My baby fell asleep a dm stayed asleep through the whole night! I was so nervous at first become was use to sleeping with mom and dad, but moving him in his comfortable space was the best decision! This bed is so freakin soft and comfortable I wanted to lay in the crib within LOL

I love that the top cover comes off and can go in the wash! We have a toddler who is potty training and this makes me feel better that he is comfortable and his bed is always clean! I love how soft and supportive the mattress is! Even when he is jumping on the bed it still holds it shape well and is not showing signs of indents! Our baby also enjoys the firmness and supportiveness of the mattress and has been sleeping better since getting this new mattress
