Super Fun story that starts this series
So I got hooked on this series when I reviewed book 3 (release date sept 15, 2015) on Netgallery. I had to stop midway because I met Trey and Cassie in that book and I wanted to go back and read their story. While all the books stand alone, this story introduces all the characters and it was so much fun. I LOVED this book, after I read this book I read book 2 about Killian - which I hated (so skip book 2, you should read this book but book 2 is very standalone). It is fun and has some great suspense, and Trey and Cassie have spunk and sweet and so perfect together. So back to this story. Trey and Cassie meet at a ball and hook up. Its supposed to be one night. But Trey wants more with Cassie. Cassie however, is in town to meet her birth dad. He and his wife are a piece of work. When Cassie meets him the next day, he agrees to a relationship if she agrees to never date. She is in her early 20's and to never date is insane. He asks that because he is a famous football team coach and he has Cassie move into his guest house and has two tween/teens living in the house. The sisters are wonderful and I thought they were written so terrific. But asking her to never date is crazy. He doesn't even give her a time limit, its just never. So when she runs into Trey and he wants to date she has to refuse him. What Cassie doesn't know is her dads his football coach. So when they finally meet, oooo that was so much fun. Then she agrees to see him in secret and they were so sweet together, I totally loved them.I am not spoiling anymore of the fun. This book was a super fun book. And I loved when Trey fought his coach/her dad for Cassie.

Great football romance
I started the Santa Fe Bobcats series when I finished with a hockey series (which is my one true book love - hockey romance novels). This however was a great pick up.This is the story of a girl who never knew her dad. When Cassie goes to meet him, she has what is supposed to be a one night stand with a guy she met in a bar. But then she finds out not only is he not just some guy, he's the QB of the Santa Fe Bobcats - the team that her father coaches. IT's a fun story about how Trey works to win her over despite her initial misgivings (most of them due to the fact her father's current wife has "rules" for her and dating is not allowed). It's a HEA story and the series gets better and better as it goes on.

Absolutely amazing!!!
I loved this book from the very beginning. The characters are fun, real, and just plain likable. The story moves fast and is easy to follow. The hero, Trey is genuine, sweet, sexy, patient and loyal. Can't beat that. Plus I love all books about sports. This one just seems to have a fun, sexy story with characters that I can truly love. Cassie, the main character, is kind and sweet, but has a fun loving way about her. I love how she not only befriends her new sisters immediately, but is protective and caring towards them. And probably my absolute favorite qualities in this book is the friendships that exist for both Cassie and Trey. They each have loyal true friends that stand beside each other no matter what. Again I absolutely LOVED this book and would recommend it to all. I literally couldn't put it down and read it in just a day!!! So ready for the next one in the series.

but it makes the book seem like an amateur project rather than a legitimate published work
Entertaining read. A bit slow going at times, but overall it kept me reading. I would generally give it three stars, but it had a fatal flaw in that it is a book about a football team written by an author who doesn't know football.Call me a nitpicker, but in my opinion if an author is going to base an entire series of books around a subject, they should write with accuracy on said subject. Or at the very least find someone who knows something about the game to give the story a quick read through before they publish it. The most glaring mistake was repeatedly referring to a defensive player as the person protecting the QB, when the defense would fairly obviously never be on the field at the same time as the quarterback. A RB being the number one receiver for the quarterback is a very basic mistake as well. This is football 101 stuff, it could be discovered with a Wikipedia search. The kind of inaccuracies that were displayed in the book can really pull the reader out of the story if they know enough about the subject to spot the errors. The story can still be entertaining, but it makes the book seem like an amateur project rather than a legitimate published work. If an author is going to ask people to pay for their work, they should do some basic research or have someone with some level of subject matter knowledge proofread the story.

Good . . . Not Great
I have read oodles of romance novels, however, this was my first book where the main character was involved in sports. I liked that it veered away from the traditional rich boy meets and wants to marry poor/broken girl. The chemistry between the main characters was good. I expected and would have liked more conflict/drama when Cassie found out the truth about Trey. It seemed their relationship went to a neat, tidy bow too quickly given the circumstances. I will be buying the author's second book too.

5 stars!!!
I really enjoyed reading this book, Jeanette Murray wrote a heroine that's truly lovable, tough, smart (nerd smart) and most importantly, not meek and annoying. Cassie is strong-willed but not afraid to ask for help. Trey, the hero in the book is a strong and tough quarterback but not afraid to declare his feelings for Cassie when he realized it. I love both of them so much that it was difficult to see the book end. There will a 2nd book but it will highlight different characters.I hope Coach Jordan gets his own book too, with a different leading lady...his first love maybe?! hint hint for Ms Murray! Can't wait to read the next book!!

It's Not Me!
I bought this book because the author has my name, and I am a writer as well, so friends were telling me my books were sizzling and the covers were close to soft porn, which mine are not! This Jeanette Murray is a talented and interesting story teller and a steamy writer. And she has a great following. I wish her the best and am happy to share the name!!

I need me a Trey!
Someone chain this woman to her writing desk! I need more! I loved both main characters and the chemistry between them was there from the start of the book without this feeling like an instant-love story. Can't wait to get my hands on the second book, already dreading my book hangover because I haven't seen s third yet! Get on it Jeanette! ;0)

5 Trent and Cassie Stars
Passionate, Sweet sports romance. Trent is a sweet guy who is a Quarterback. Cassie is his coaches daughter. Neither knows this about the other and when all is revealed things get complicated....

Nice
Nick book. Good storyline. Characters were likable - although, Tabitha n Irene deserved a good real life slap. Would like to read some more about other team members, maybe.
