So advanced, they didn;t bother with an alarm clock!
More than $600 spent and I get a screen with smiley faces, every option possible, but they didn't bother to put in a 10-cent alarm clock. It's like buying a loaded Lexus and finding out there's no brakes. It's back in its case and I'm using my old F&P Icon. Costs less, fewer bells and whistles, but they managed to put an alarm in it.

Faulty Water Tank Design - - after a time (weeks to months) some will develop leaks !
ResMed really BLEW it with this model. I had an S9 for 5 years - - no problems. But it was time to get a new machine. Doc recommended the Autoset 10 - - so I agreed. I've had it x 2 months now - and just last week while on a business trip (no - I did NOT drop the tank, and I always hand-carry my CPAP. On this trip I drove myself) there was a puddle of water on the plastic nightstand counter top !! I re-checked all the connections, filled the tank to 1/2, and put the CPAP on a towel. Same Thing !! The final night I used the tank without any humidity (I didn't like that). When I got home, I've been using the S10 up on blocks with a baking pan underneath. The tank is DEFINITELY leaking. It's Saturday - - no DME companies are ever open on the weekend. For $18 Amazon will get me a new one (no shipping on my Prime account), and I'll fight with my DME company on Monday. It seems this problem is well known - - try Google: resmed Autoset 10 water leak-So - - the rest of the story. I called the DME company. They say: you have a 30 day warranty on this equipment. It'll be $38 for a replacement water tank. I raise the BS flag "Really - - it's $18 on Amazon - free shipping""well that's our charge as the insurance Co price".The tank is DEFECTIVE - - WHAT don't you understand about that?"REALLY - - resmed only warrants their brand new garbage for 30 days ??No clue if Philips Respironics or Fisher & Paykel are any betterBut a 30d warranty on a Brand New Product tells me the MFG has NO Confidence in it's own equipment.Buyer Beware.

How to get cool vapor if you have nasal congestion problems in hot humid temps affecting you.
The CPAP with a humidifer tub can be made into a cool vapor machine using distilled water. DO NOT ADD DISTILLED WATER AND PUT IN YOUR FREEZER TO ICE OVER. That could crack the water tub. Instead, make distilled water ice cubes. Turn on the humidifier warmer. Fill the tub with distilled cubes to the full mark, and then add distilled water to the mark. Insert the tub into the 10, and hook up. Turn off the warmer. Continue your hook up. You will get immediate cool air vapor for a happy go to sleep, if you are as lucky as I am. It took me 7 days adjusting to my CPAP to figure that out. Do not use tap or bottled drinking water. Sleep well.
