Seymour DuncanSH-1n 59 Model 4-Conductor Pickup - Black Neck

I bought my 1st Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 back in 1991 as a replacement for a neck pickup in a Gibson Invader. I already replaced the bridge pickup with an SH-6 Duncan Distortion. Between those 2 pickups (or anything paired with a '59) you can get the sweetest tones, especially if you roll back the tone a little. This '59 is going into an Ibanez RG470DX that I already put an SH-8 Invader in the bridge position.

This is the best neck pickup I've ever heard. I get the hot clarity of a single coil but with the warmth and fullness you'd expect from a humbucker, with some nice grit added in the mix. I wired it with a push/pull coil tap but honestly never use it. The pickup sounds perfect in humbucking mode as is.

This is a nice middle ground pickup. A little more clarity than the Gibson 490R but not as piercing as the Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup (especially on high gain). Smooth like butter.

Fantastic service delivered promptly. Excellent both split and non split. Great upgrade from the standard pickups in my Schecter.

NOT the 4-conductor model. Received the 1-conductor and had to return it. Disappointing.

Colpa mia. E' arrivato in un periodo poco allegro e non ho controllato subito. Il pick-up è quello ma non la versione a 4 wire (splittabile) che veniva pubblicizzata, è la versione 2 wire. Va bene, in parte colpa mia, ma il prodotto non è esattamente quello proposto.
