The book is filled with a variety of script that are of interest to me. It was a welcome addition to my references. Unbeknownst to the Amazon Seller - bigbooksbooks. When they discovered how damaged the book was they refunded my money. I highly recommend Amazon Seller - ‘bigbooksbooks‘ as a seller with integrity!

I knew I wanted this book but didn't expect to love it as much as I do.  It has way more content than I expected, and it is fantastic both in terms of instruction and information.  I've loved calligraphy since I was a kid, and now that I'm trying to get back into it as an adult, I appreciate the historical context of the various hands and the profiles of some fantastic calligraphers.  The book is hefty enough that I sometimes use it as a hard surface to place my sketch pads on during practice, but portable enough that I can throw it into my backpack on a jaunt through the city.  The design of the book, including its cover, is elegant.  Just walking by this book on my shelf inspires me to practice.
