Digispark USB Development Workshop Kindle Edition

This booklet is short and to the point. I would pay more to see more details - for instance, a more practical example of I2C hardware.Also, this book needs a bit of editing by a native English speaking person. Given that it's currently the only book dedicated to Digispark hardware, not too bad. Perhaps the manufacturer can add their contribution?

I really like this book. I have learned some of the basics of Arduino and have built several circuits using it. This book builds on that knowledge.

Informative but not so in-depth

This is one of the only if not THE only book for the digispark range of boards.Unlike the Arduino series which use the Atmel Atmega328 the Digispark uses the ATtiny 85 an a compressed version of the Arduino code allowing it to be programmed by a suitably modified Arduino IDE. It does however have a far smaller amount of useable memory after the bootloader has been installed so don't think you can simply port your Arduino UNO code across to the Digispark because you can'tThis book is a definitely "to have" if you're playing with the Digispark but you need to be aware that this has been written by someone whose first language appears to have not been english.Consequently some of the book takes some rereading and considerable decoding before you can make sense of it.All said and done though this is a worthwhile addition I just can't make it more than "it's ok" as a review as it should have had a deeper proof read by someone who could rephrase sentences correctly.

It's OK but is a bit thin on the ground

Für jemanden der nicht mit google umgehen kann um tutorials zu Attiny zu finden, OK. Aber ansonsten bleibt das Buch hinter meinen Erwartungen zurück.Beispiel: Es wird gezeigt, wie man mit dem Arduino GUI den bekannten Blink Sketch auf den Attiny bekommt, warum aber als Plattform digispark -16 MHz ausgewählt werden soll, und nicht eine andere Plattform, verrät uns der Autor nicht. Liegt vielleicht daran, daß im Web auch keine weiteren Informationen zu den Optionen zu finden sind. Aber das zeichnet eben einen guten Auto aus: daß er etwas mehr weiss, als der durchschnittliche Anwender, bzw. die google Suchmaschine.

Worth what I paid for it. Another poorly written 'book' that comes across as reading someone's blog.

Useful examples and explanations. The pictures could be a bit better. Ditto for the circuit diagrams. Thanks a lot anyways!
