Works great with Samsung LCD for about 10 minutes, then poof...
Original review:Works as expectedAllows me to get DLNA functionality out of an older Samsung TV, so I can watch my HDHomeRunI can only hope that this wifi adapter will continue to work for years to come, hope it doesn’t die after some months...Edit a few days later:Well that was fast LOL!I can stream video for about 10 minutes using DLNA, but eventually the stream will drop randomlyWhen this happens, I go into the TV menu and run a network test and it says that it can’t communicate to the gateway (ie my router)Powering the tv off then on again fixes the problem until you try it again and the same thing keeps happeningSeems like the WiFi is dropping out when under load and it’s causing the adapter to failI’ve got two different WiFi access points, one is in the next room and the other is downstairs and it happens with both of themAlso, I tried running an Ethernet cable to the tv directly and it’s fine, I ran a test for over an hour and the video didn’t drop out or freeze onceSafe to say that this WiFi adapter is not using a great chipset and / or has some kind of problemsI wouldn’t recommend purchasing this unless you want to waste a bunch of time like I didIt is compatible with the Tv and the software is updated to the latest but it just is not a stable product, it only works for 10 minutes then dies completely when it’s under load

Decieved
Did my research, and was compatible in every way. TV would not recognize it and all 4 methods of installation did not work. Tried every USB port and installation method multiple times. Wasted 2 days of my time. Bought a Roku for half the cost and installed in 5 minutes. Not a genuine Samsung product. Good luck if you try. In process of returning, but there was mention of restocking fee?? We will see how amazon handles this. Will make new review after return is completed. Good luck if you try.

Works as Needed
I bought my Samsung Smart TV nearly a decade ago and have never gotten around to buying a LAN adapter until I finally decided after moving to a new home that it was time to put my TV to its full use. The LAN adapter works beautifully — 100% compatible with my TV. There was no additional setup needed. I just stuck in the adapter to one of the available outlets on the back of my TV and voila!

It works.
It works. It is definitely compatible with my smart tv in the 6000 series and connects to my router, but I’m having trouble connecting to the Internet. Most likely has to do with my router and it is not the adapter’s fault. Will try to fix.

Not compatible with my TV.
It was easy to install and seems to be a quality product but I had to return it because it was not compatible with my TV.
