I use this for shaking my Vallejo 17ml bottles of paint. It does the job and saves strain on my arthritic hands and wrists. It’s noisy but less so when resting on a soft surface. (This might make it transmit less vibration to the paint though? It’s hard to tell.)I haven’t used the option of batteries. It’s fairly heavy duty so I plug in the charger instead. Some Vallejo paints take ages to recombine by hand shaking after standing. They take ages on the machine too so be patient.I put a small ball bearing in each bottle to help with the agitation, whether done with hand or machine. I think it helps but make certain that it’s good stainless steel or your paint might all become rust coloured!

The item took ages to arrive (long after the due date) and had to be chased before finally arriving. I tried it four times with the mains unit and with batteries but couldn't get it to work so requested a return. Then I noticed the paint holder seemed to be jammed. I managed to release it and it now works. How long it wil last I do not know but I am not very impressed. I bought it for shaking bottles of paint when model making and it seems to to do that quite well.

Bought to shake modelling paints. Excellent. Would recommend to everybody.

Works really well but the power suply is a real hazard. When i pulled it out of the socket, the metal pin stayed in and was sticking out of the socket and live. Thus is a shame because the shaker is great.

Bought as a gift for a modeler, who’s very happy with it, except for the battery compartment screw having been over tightened, so it has cross the threads of the casing and won’t undo. Thankfully I chose one with mains power. Tip from its owner it can be plugged into a dimmer switch to control the speed of shake if required.

As a modeler I use paint in small bottles this is brilliant at getting them ready for use great item
