crimps are a cheap and easy way to install various connectors and join wires, they have always been suspect though when electrical faults exist as crimps must be done very aggressively tight to prevent loose crimps causing issuesI suspect my tool is garbage as another kit has the same issues but be warned, give your crimps a tug before you trust them as I got tripped up on loose crimps more than I care to admit

I enjoyed receiving this unit today because I finally got most of my wiring done now just two more days and I should have all my work done and then start on my play toys thank you

Did not know these existed until I saw them being used on you tube. Went to my favorite place to find them on line. After reviewing a number of suppliers I ended up buying these because they offered the best value for the money.

they are hard to use; the plastic isn't super strong so it buckles when you squeeze with pliers, making it hard to get a good connection.however, even while it took me 3 tries to get it correct and working, it was much better than cutting/splicing, etc. and there's plenty in there to do the small job I had. you definitely need room to work in, a tight area will amplify the difficulty.I'd use them again without hesitation, the price is good and the job is done... but they aren't perfect.

came just as shown in the picture, the box was well wrapped and protected. The connectors are very good quality and made my wiring job very easy. Was able to tap the wires that I needed to grab power from and allows for an easy disconnect if I ever need to service the rest of the wiring.

These seem to work fine with one minor, which, is as much my problem as the design, which is prone to misalignment of the male spadeWhen sliding the male spade into the female connector, it is very easy to get the spade outside the female insulation jacket. Once you do it once or twice, then you become more conscious of the need to make sure it is properly seated inside the female connector; otherwise you're looking for all sorts of other issues when in fact there is none.If the female connector was designed with a "collar" to help guide the metal spade, it might help.
