One sheet of paper is shredded into nearly 7000 pieces. The DSM07-13 can shred up to 7 sheets at a time, and can run continuously. The spacious 13-gallon pull-out frame should be lined with either plastic or recyclable paper bags (sold separately) to neatly catch all the confetti-size shreds. Non-stop Jam Free Technology makes shredding a breeze. While shredding, a LED light on the shredder face is green as long as users are within the sheet capacity. The light will turn red if capacity is exceeded to indicate that users are at risk of causing a jam. This shredder automatically clears small pieces of paper that could build up on the cutters causing jams, and automatically lubricates the cutters to maintain the fastest shredding performance over time.
