Bluetooth Cell Phone Recording Device with Built-in 8GB Flash Drive & 20-Hour Battery

I had an earlier version of this, which always had the wrong time-stamp on all the recorded mp3s, and you couldn't change it. This version contains an executable on the device, which you should run occasionally. It updates the device, with the correct date & time.Very convenient. I use it to record certain meetings at the office. I've had too many experiences when management asks you to work on something or to change something, and they forget weeks or months later. And, of course, there's office politics. Always helpful to have recordings, provided you live in a state (e.g., NY) where you are allowed to record conversations with a device that you are holding on your person.So I've used this device for a while, and it's helped on 3 occasions.The main problem is that, unlike your cell phone, it doesn't have a speaker, and it doesn't have an earphone jack. So you have to hold it, with your hand, near your ears.I tried combining it with a bluetooth speaker, and that doesn't work.However, one workaround is to attach the clip on the device to something on your person, like a hat. You have to adjust the length of the cord a bit, and it's kind of weird that the device is dangling from your hat. But it works.I recommend this highly. But if you need to be able to type or do something else while listening, you have to have a workaround to free your hands.

The actual conversation was hardly recorded. The switch was turned on for "mobile" and the cell phone connected to bluetooth. Barely a whisper was recorded, yet i could hear the other party loud and clear with max phone volume. Its as if the recorder was simply s microphone and had sensitive pickup but not direct bluetooth. Also the call was hung up by the recorder because i didn't us IT. I think one has to use it as the phone to work. That's not good for me.

I ordered two of these devices. The first one did not work at all, and I suspect it was a battery issue. I ordered a second one, and it works but there is a significant and constant echo for the person on the other end of the phone call. I have tested this with two phones and tried to troubleshoot, but the echo is constantly there on the other end of the call. The echo makes this product worthless to me as nobody wants to talk to me with an echo on the phone.

This little device is so cool, however I tried the bluetooth mode and yes it is cool for a device to pick up the call but when I played back my voice was super clear and great but the other person was very very hard to hear. I tried many ways such as putting volume up, speaker, non speaker but the other end was not at all clear. If the other end can pick up the same way my end picks up mannnn this would have been a fantastic little thing to have. But this item is really cool

I love it. Please do an upgrade I need a mute button on the Pen when recording cellphone/mobile calls. It currently picks up background noise from the pen even though I'm on mute on my cellphone. I bought 2 of them! I love it. I'm willing to buy again if upgraded with new features.

This continues to perform beyond expectations. Exactly what I needed Recommended to two friends. After a lot of research and considering many options, chose this and grateful I did.
