Great instructions...nice and clear if you are looking to build a simple pot still (water purification evaporator),as a newbie with handy mechanical skills this is a piece of cake.

I have not read it yet but I skimmed through it and it is definitely is a how to book

This is a pamphlet that has an ISBN, which means it has been cataloged by the library of congress as a book...some gnome, somewhere isn't doing their job! Here is the TRUTH! this is an amateur attempt at writing. 35 pages with 3465 words, hardly qualifying as a short story. I counted the words on the title page, the copyright page, the I thank every body page, and the index page. The writing is bad. The photographs are bad, making up the bulk of the book. To think you could build this potentially harmful item with any confidence, using these instructions, is ridiculous. The person posing as a writer has found a lucrative way of making a living, while hoodwinking us all. Read Less

Very disappointing. I think this is a dangerous design. Confusing and contradictory directions (how to install a cistern valve, but you don't need it...and it's dangerous if you do...) and not enough safety considerations throughout. No way to even monitor the temperature of the distillate. These kinds of home made gizmos are what gives distilling a bad name. The author states that it isn't a manual on how to distill, but if people use this design without knowing at least the basics, the results could be disastrous.

was the thinnest book ever...bought it as a present ...pretty embarrassing ...however content not bad but not that comprehensive, can probably find as much on the internet..still person i bought it for appeared happy
