I was excited to try to gua sha for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered one in moonstone and it came packaged all nicely with a small pouch (I’m a sucker for cute packaging). I started using it a few times a week after putting on a tea tree oil serum on my face at night, so my skin was slippery enough to glide the gua sha stone around, rather than dragging and pulling my skin. Bonus, the stone also feels great if you let it chill in the refrigerator for a bit before using it. I noticed after using this, that my skin glows the next morning, and my cheeks feel firmer and lifted. It also helps relieve some of the tension in my jaw muscles, as my dentist told me I apparently grind my teeth a lot at night, but to fully relief that tension will probably be more of a long term goal.

It is beautiful and the edges are nice and smooth for easy glide across the skin. It is ergonomic and feels good in your hand.I really thought it would be made of actual moonstone. But its not. Some sort of opalized glass. Sad face

I Love my moonstone Gua sha took so far! It’s heavier than I expected but it works great. Smooth and the color is beautiful. I’ve put it in ice for a cool treatment and it’s held together great!
