Does what it’s supposed to
Seems pretty good but I’ve only been using it for a couple of hours. I believe you can charge the case and the phone together but I charged the case separately. Only thing is it makes your phone really heavy because it’s a 4500 mah battery so the case is bulky. I feel because of how heavy It is if you drop your phone the added weight is gonna make the impact harder and even though it’s a case it may break the screen easier if it lands hard on one of the corners. I guess on time I will see. Perhaps next tine maybe I will try a smaller size like a 3500 instead

Works well, fits an iPhone 6 great
UPDATE: *I didn't realize it before, but offering customers cash to try and review a product (specifically asking for 5-stars) goes against Amazon policy. MOST of the reviews you see for this product, especially those with photos and videos, are participating in the program, as was my review. All that said, I still think this was a great product.*DISCLAIMER: I was offered a gift card to write this review. They ask for a 5-star rating to get it, and while I have given this product 5-stars, my review I completely honest. This product really is good. Most other reviews including 5 stars and multiple pictures (another requirement) were likely offered gift cards as well. After my girlfriend's iPhone 6 phone and case died from water damage, we were on the lookout for a new case. This one was new from the same company that made the last battery case, which we loved. My girlfriend got an iPhone 7, but we were able to test this case out on both the old and new phones to get some good information. I'll go through the pro's and con's, but in short, if you're looking for a good battery case for an iPhone 6, this one will work for you.Pro's-Fits the iPhone 6 well, doesn't block the camera-You can use a lightning cable to charge the case and phone at the same time (just plug into the case).-Extends your battery life by around 3 times! (Huge plus. My girlfriends phone went from hours before needing a charge to going 2 days without charging).-Easy one-touch control to turn on and off charging.-Redesign for inserting and removing phone. Although I never had this issue, older cases were known to wear out and the part that kept your phone in the case would break. It was like a door on the top of the case. We were careful to rarely remove it so as to not wear out. With this new design, you just flip the top of the case out of the way and back in place, which doesn't wear it out since it's a sort of rubbery plastic.-The felt inside is a nice touch that helps your phone slide in and out of the case without being rough on the phone.-The buttons on the side are easy to use, and don't require gorilla strength fingers to push them (as other phone cases sometimes do).Con's-While not really a huge deal because you quickly get used to it, the case is a little thicker. I've included a picture to show that the case is a little over twice the thickness of the phone (and thicker than the previous battery case model). However, the battery has to go somewhere, and it wasn't a big bother at all.-The amazon description is 100% accurate, so I'm not dinging that at all; this is for the iPhone 6 only. I only mention that the box the case comes in advertises it will work for the iPhone 7 and 8, but the case will cover the cameras on these phones, and does not support the lightning headphones. But the amazon listing is accurate so you shouldn't be buying it for the 7 or 8 anyways.Overall, the phone case works well and has been great for extending battery life. I will be looking for a case specific to the iPhone 7 since this case isn't specifically tailored to it (although it still charges it just fine, it's just the camera is blocked and we can't use lightning headphones. But again, no fault of the case manufacturer). If we still had the iPhone 6, we'd be using this case because it works so well.

Stopped charging
I got this because I liked that I could still use my regular charger, it didn't have a magnetic piece that would fall off, and I could use my headphones. All was fine until it stopped charging my phone and the case at the same time a couple weeks in. So now, I charge them separately. I take the case off constantly to charge my phone - in the car, at home, at work... I've actually shattered my screen because it's fallen off the table at night with no case. But whatever, still used it. But now it won't charge at all. I only use apple chargers for it, I never try to charge it in the car. I purchased it at the end on July and its not even January yet. It's just annoying.

NOT Still Gaga about this Case 5 MONTHS in
ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS WRITTEN AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT FOR 5 WEEKS. SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m gaga for this case! I feel like I have a new phone! It’s definitely beefy tho. Not a bad thing but it’s the beefiest of three I’ve tried. The previous one was really bad. Should see my review on that. Scathing. (and perhaps that's why I love this one so much b/c of the horrible experience with the previous one omg). This one here...day 2, I was @ 35%. I pressed and held the power on button on the back of the case and around 11:30/45 and forgot about it. After the gym (round 12:40) I was back in the 90% range. I don’t like that u have to press a power button but better than having to plug in. And this thing has some lights on the back that indicate how much juice it has left when you tap the button. Vol & power buttons work nicely & headphones (not blue tooth) fits too! I got the Orca looking one. Update: Really happy with it still 5 weeks after delivery. One little tiny spot is kind of flaking/ peeling a bit, but I treat my phone like trash. I’m riding a bike with it hanging out my back pocket 10 miles a day...and dropping it once a day. I’m constantly sliding it in and out my pocket...djaying with it....throwing it here and there.UPDATE AFTER 5 MONTHS OWNING THIS PRODUCT: At first I loved the case so much but the functionality started to deteriorate at about the 4.5 month mark. At first I could charge the case and phone at the same time with one cable. As time went on, I had to start charging them separately (either with 2 cables or one after another). Now today...the case just wont charge at all. For the past month, I could get it to charge if I set it down at just the perfect angle or had the cable pressed up against something (like a lamp base, or glass) but now it just doesn't charge at all no matter how much TLC and attention I give it. It's starting to really bug me. I haven't dropped it too much. Maybe it's b/c I would leave it charging all night? I don't think the battery is dead...I just think the port has become loose as often happens with these ports. I paid $32.39 for this case so that worked out to be about 20 cents a day for 162 days. Now I have to look for another.

Loose charging port
Charging port on the case itself is fragile. After 2 months of normal use it has become loose; I now have to apply light pressure either up or down to make the case start charging. I have to now make a choice between charging my phone/case undisturbed or remove my phone and charge the case by itself; it’s a nuisance at this point!!!Otherwise, the case offers a raised lip to help against scratches. I’ve dropped my phone 2 times at hip height and the case protected it just fine. The buttons on the case are hard to press.
