Thank God my mother in law knows how to sew. She used this panel on a pair of my jeans that I already owned and it worked wonders! It lasted 7 months, and I'm still able to wear those pants now if needed. One thing is that this panel is very thin. So I always needed to wear a belly band with my jeans. This panel will not hold up your pants on it's own. No biggie for me since the belly band gave me more support. But just thought I'd add that.
