You must keep in mind that Sheetrock is potentially heavy and needs strength by the user. The tool is superb. Well constructed an lightweight. The Vulcan grips make this job of handling Sheetrock so much easier. In closing, one will live longer an be more prosperous byreducing injuries.

Use them for drywall. Used these on 5/8 drywall for 10' and 12' sheets. Worked well. You need to make sure they are sitting flush on top of the panel or it can leave an indentation in the drywall (but that is user error). My guys liked them for carrying. Would be nice if they could build in a hook to be able to hook it to your tool belt while making drywall cuts etc. Overall very happy. Purchased two of them.

I received this product on 08/01/2019 and used it the same day as I am in the middle of a home remodeling project. I was hopeful that this gripper would resolve my having to bend down and pick up 4x8s, carrying the weight of the same with one arm while using my body as support and guess what, no more bending down for 4x8 OSB sheathing, plywood, MDF, OSB floor panels, etc. Lifting 4x8 pieces of drywall on the otherhand with this gripper needs to be done with caution as I had no problem lifting 1/2" and 5/8" thick panels but unfortunately, 3/8" and 1/4" broke apart when I attempted to use the gripper on them. Just to thin for the force of the grip. Nevertheless, I would recommend this product to everyone and for the price, you can't go wrong.

I have the original "name brand" of this. This one works just as good. The quality is not as good, but it is also half the price. I would buy this one again.

This panel carrier is impressive! Yesterday my wife and I went to HD to buy three panel (two pvc and one wood). I noticed that there were some people watching us dealing with the panels, but they were shocked when they saw me using the panel carrier, and asked me where I got it. :-) Then, when we got home, my neighbors asked me the same question. :-) So, dear friends, this carrier is very useful.

I thought this was a little pricey, but I am so happy that I got it. I am 72 years old and am doing another Reno project and found my old bottom carrier was just to hard to carry drywall and plywood and decided to see if this made it easier. Night and day difference and I could kick myself for not getting it years ago. I can move mate4ial much easier and it literally saves my back. It is very well made and will probably be handed down to my son someday. It is built to last!

It does make it easier to carry panels of plywood. Before I was hurting my shoulder stretching to grip the panels. Now it's just a matter of centering the unit on the panel and lifting without having to stretch. I just squat and lift with my legs. It is so much easier. Compared to other units, the price was right. Great Item.

So the items works as advertised and DEFINITELY makes moving sheet goods a LOT easier. I'm 50 years old and moved 80 sheets of drywall from the street into the basement of a house and the VULCAN grip saved my back for sure. I took off 2 stars because what I received was clearly used and returned.... aluminum all scratched up and the gripping portion showed ware marks......
