Perfect for history buffs
To summarise, this is such an excellent set.I have admittedly been slightly obsessing over vikings, and so this was a must-buy for me. The build is, as I said, excellent, though a lot of small parts, and does get very fiddly (especially the rigging). No stickers, so all patterns and shields are prints. Always a bonus. Only had one piece missing, and I did have a spare. Though that isn't the fault of the seller or Amazon.The figures are incredible. Accurate weapons, all individual colours, three of them even have tattoo prints. I cannot fault any of them. The female warrior (known as a shield maiden by the vikings) has a cape with a print on. Like I said, cannot fault the details. The shields really pop too. There's 14 of them total, all with unique prints.Overall, I am truly impressed by this set. The ship is looking historically accurate, as are the figures and their weaponry. If you're a history buff like me, this is definitely worth a purchase.

After finishing the Lego Ninjago City, Docks and Gardens with my son, we were looking for our next build.We had never tried MegaConstrux before, but the set looked interesting.The bags weren't numbered, like Lego.The downside of this is that a large area is needed in order to spread out and organise the pieces.The upside, in my opinion, is that it was better for my son to have to do this, instead of being spoonfed a la Lego.We did discover one piece was missing; a quick telephone conversation with MegaConstrux and the missing piece was on its way. It will take 3-4 weeks to arrive though because replacement parts are shipped from Canada. Not a problem, in this case, because no other parts attached to the missing piece.It is an absolutely fantastic model and incredible value when compared with Lego.We have just ordered our second MegaConstrux set and hope it is as good as this.RECOMMENDED.

Takes some time but a decent finished display
Requires a decent amount of time to complete from start to finish perhaps with several breaks in between. Nonetheless a decent finish. Once completed and posed for display especially with the well crafted & articulated little figures

So many missing pieces
I've built a lot of mega construx and mega bloks sets and have never experienced so many missing pieces. I've had to go onto the Mega Construx website and request new bricks 5 times now and even this morning I got a new block in the post but in the exact same part of the instructions another part is missing. Disappointing and making me not want to finish the set any more
