Great material (cotton like comfort) and price. Very comfortable (as long as you don’t overtighten). Velcro is strong - and as a result very noisy if you have to adjust in the night so getting fit right before using for sleep is essential. For the 4” sizing was great for me - adult man, 16” neck. I bought the 3” collar for my mother who is short and she found it just right for her. You could measure your neck height and base your choice on that. The collar is easy to use with just one secure hook and loop (velcro type) fastening. Per title I use for sleep to prevent chin tuck and mouth breathing whilst sleeping - it’s been so effective (with mouth tape and CPAP). For maximum comfort I only tighten to the point I know my chin won’t open. I’m my case it’s so good I plan to leave my CPAP at home when I need to travel with work and vacation… best £9.99 spent in long time!

Helps with the pain relief like it to be a little bit more softer.

This neck collare is perfect in every way. Although initially it felt a little tall and was rather hard and uncomfortable after wearing it on and off over a period of a month, it moulded and softened a little and is now very comfortable to wear when I need it. I have spondylosis in my spine and get flare ups from time to time. I used to have an NHS collar which I threw away about ten years ago as I hadn't had a flare up in the time. A bit silly really because I bought several collars recently from diferent sellar costing a lot more than this collar, which were a disaster. They were soft and spomgy giving no support at all. This one is more like the one I had from the NHS which was also uncomfortable to start with. I have had this collar and have worn it on and off for about two months now and can say I an blisfully happy with the way it feels when I werar it and it gives me the support I need. This is a brilliant product at a sensible price. I am thinking of buying another one as a back up. If you try this collare and give it time, I'm sure you will find it will soften slightly to give a more comfortable fit.

Had to return item, as when removed from box it was miles too big for my wife . Checking sizes, even if I had opted for the smaller size I reckon it would have been far too big. Pitty as it looked a well made neck brace. I think these braces are more suitable for long thin necks, as I said looks a well made item, just not suitable for my wife's short neck.

I suffer from joint pain in various parts my body. I have always felt uncomfortable with having or needing support. However when I been waking up recently my neck has been real painful and causing headaches and blurred vision. I decided to go for a neck support that I could still keep it in during sleep. I suffer from PTSD and insomnia so sleep is always a problem. When sleeping after I put on the neck support it was first time in months I slept for a few hours with no pain. I was amazed I managed to sleep. The design is comfortable. The size is alright if I did not have joint pain in my hands it be easy.to put together but for me it was difficult but I managed it. It great and comfy and I can do things whilst I am wearing it. So it enables you to function without the need to take it off to breath. It was affordable and good value for money. Great little find on Amazon. Thank you for making possible for me to sleep. Great we'll back to sleep I go. If you buy enjoy the break from pain.

I have already requested a refund but the item is clearly a medical device as the supplier makes unmistakeable medical claims for it e.g. it is described online as providing 'SUPERIOR PAIN RELIEF AND INJURY SUPPORT ... The non-rigid neck brace will also relieve headaches caused by cervical strains and sprains' and yet and it arrived without any CE mark or any indication that it was a medical device nor were any instructions for use provided. No evidence was provided to support the medical claims made for this device. A medical device cannot be sold in either Great Britain or in Northern Ireland unless it has a CE mark or a UKCA mark as without these it does not meet UK legal requirements. It must also meet the UK medical devices regulations. Therefore as the device does not comply with legal requirements, so Amazon UK should withdraw it from sale immediately. By the way I am a regulatory consultant for medical devices.

Very stiff and uncomfortable compared with the one the hospital gave me. It managed to hurt my throat while I was wearing it without providing any real support. I am returning it.

For me this is now comfortable to wear it wasn’t at first it seemed a little stiff but I have got used to it now, I would say its no good if you have a large neck my neck measurement is 13 inches and it is just right it seems a bit stiff at first overall good quality at a reasonable price

The collar is very stiff and uncomfortable. It’s almost like wearing a plastic immobilizer. Though its width is of the correct size, the sponge is so hard. You get a pain in the neck if you wear this for some time. The width was the only reason I went in for this, the others being much wider, but the pain you endure by wearing this is just not worth the buy. Would have returned it if it was returnable.

I purchased this brace over others because of the added height option available. I have a long neck, and anything shorter would have been a waste of money. It took a couple of wears before it broke in, but it is quite comfortable and very supportive. Today is the longest amount of time I have worn it at about 6 hours straight now, and it is still comfortable after doing all of the Christmas decoration take-down I've been busy with. Great value, quality and fit!

I can't really give a good review for this neck brace because I think the problems I have with it are because I bought it too big?! Plus it is too high and keeps my neck at a painful angle. I have arthritis in my neck, and scoliosis and it was just too painful for those ailments. But, I do believe that may be because I bought the wrong size and the wrong type. Sorry I can't be more helpful!! :o(

It's a neck brace. The thing is, if you need this, you're likely in a lot of pain and there's no real way to make you comfortable. So, taking into account the reality of this situation, I've had this brace for a while now. It is of very good quality. It is stiff, which is both uncomfortable, but necessarily uncomfortable. It needs to be stiff to stop my head from irritating my neck. So, It has helped to reduce the pain in my neck. So, due to the inherent discomfort of having to use this product gives it four stars I believe. If you have significant chronic neck pain, you're likely a little unhappy all the time. It's tough to deal with. The product itself is 5 stars. 1. Durable. I've now had it for years. 2. Stiff. Holds the head up effectively to reduce pressure on the neck. So, it's effective at reducing pain as well. It doesn't make the pain disappear. it helps significantly. 3. Shaped about as well as it could be considering it has to work for a wide range of people.
