I went for these shelves because of the sheer number of positive reviews and the fact that I had seen similar for over £100 each on other sites. I was right to trust - these shelves are top notch. They were packaged securely and the quality of the wood and brackets is right there to see. I may well buy more.The only negative I can say is the fixtures were a bit naff and we swapped them for longer, sturdier screws but that’s not enough to justify knocking the overall quality and value for and I would encourage anybody looking for classy chunky shelves to look no further!

This is difficult because the quality is lovely but the colour is not dark enough and therefore I have.so far not fixed it to the wall. My fault though but daren't order another because it is expensive.

I bought the 15cm wide shelf to use as a mantle for my stove. It is substantial and will look really good. The brackets are a bit industrial for my taste but suit the look of the shelf. I over estimated the length I would need and the colour I opted for is lighter on the shelf than it looks on the image.(medium brown). I would buy again but they are a bit expensive. I think it would be possible to source the components separately for cheaper. I don’t think anyone purchasing would be disappointed with what they received.
