I didn’t enjoy this book and probably won’t read it again.
I liked Miranda at first but by chapter 11, not so much. It was all “I want, I want, I want”. I get that you have needs and you should find yourself as you grow. But there are plenty of men who would have shown her that, even if they can be less than stellar at it all the time. Why she married a man that would make her feel like she had cooties after sex I don’t understand. Now, I liked Brax. She was with him sporadically for six months. I don’t honestly think she gave him enough time to find his feet in their FWB before she took off to the IBP. The only way her choices made sense was because of his words and the amount of time he was gone for. It kind of read like she only spent about a day or two with him per month. That’s like a total of 12 days altogether. She never clarified her desire for a more serious relationship and I put that error squarely on her shoulders. Brax was just realizing how much she meant to him and then bam(!) she was gone. The serious nature of his job was a super distraction and can be excuse or reason enough for him needing time to get “there” with her. Then the last thing I didn’t care for was the confrontation between the three of them. I was all into this story up until this point and had been eager for this showdown to finally get the three of them together. But Miranda thought very poorly of Brax in her head. And even called him a fool while he was groveling to her, again this was in her head. I felt she was demeaning towards him and that is not love. When you love someone you don’t see them as less than. Even if you fall for someone else at the same time. The heart is an amazing thing. It can expand to include many and can be super forgiving and I felt she lacked in that understanding.I liked Tryst. He was a prillon who demanded excellence from a second. As for him giving up hope on a bride and never replacing his former second, I found inappropriately reflected his character, not just as a prillon but as a second in command of a battleship. In previous books, it has been shown that brides arrive at any stage in a males life, young or old once they have earned the right to be tested. So that was just poor planning or a remission of his duty as a prillon potential mate. But then, had there been a second there wouldn’t have been a point to this book.Brax I liked, and yes he was a clueless guy that F#€ked up and lost his FWB/girl. But a lot could have been avoided had some conversations had happened and a little less sex. As I stated above a conversation about Miranda wanting a serious relationship, a conversation about Brax’s military record, and a conversation about whether any of them wanted babies. This book was written well, even if I didn’t like how it played out and didn’t like the female lead. My favorite books are the two books with secret babies, one of which introduced the Miranda character. And of course nearly all of the colony books. But I didn’t like this story and I won’t read it again. Hope you can enjoy it more than I did.

Matched & Mated
This is an established series, the 16th, that includes alpha quality alien warriors who are DNA (and whatever else) matched with an Earth female with pretty much 100% compatibility potential. In this story Miranda, a divorcee, is living off planet Earth with her best friend Natalie though she wants her own family but has to have a mate to start that process. So far all she's only enjoyed a 'friends with benefits' relationship with a male who knows what she needs and is able to provide it, but, can't or won't progress into more.Turns out the male, Doctor Brax, is a secret agent for the I.C.. Being a doctor/physician, he's able to infiltrate and complete his missions with high success rates. In his mind he can't commit to Miranda as his job is dangerous and there's always the chance he won't return.Fast forward into Miranda getting fed up and signing up with the Interstellar Bride program. Of course she's matched on the spot and transported to her potential/probable mate. A Prillon. To remind you, Prillion's mate as a pair with one female, and, surprise, surprise, he doesn't have a second.I just can't see a purpose for this book in the series. Yes, it features a sexy time story of repeated BDSM adult intimacy scenes, and gives a reason to feature a second chance romance sort of thing, but otherwise has no value.A sexy times story for fans of the series and author.

Matched and Mated (Interstellar Brides® Bo
Miranda came to Trion 2 years ago with her friend Natalie. Since then she has been in a no strings attached relationship with Brax. A doctor, and much more (secret agent anyone ), he has been against a mate with his job being so dangerous. Yet he loves her and she love him...neother say it. Feeling alone she goes to be tested as a bride and is transported to a battleship into the arms of Trix a Prillion officer...when Brax finds her gone.....well....wow. Two strong dominant males from different planets and cultures. One always shares a mate with a second and one DOES NOT. Who will she choose? This was a different twist on the bride program. I loved it. Another win for Grace Goodwin. Keep em coming Grace.

Wow!!
Another great addition to the Interstellar Brides series! Grace Goodwin added a different spin on "Matched and Mated" and it worked out perfectly! I won't give spoilers so I'll just say if you are a fan of Interstellar Brides you won't want to miss Trist, Miranda, and Brax's story! I couldn't put it down and now I'm sad that it over!🙈😔 If this is your first time reading this series, they are standalone sci-fi romance but you will get the most enjoyment by starting at the beginning due to couples from previous books make appearances. ( Which to me is awesome like catching up with friends!) Enjoy! Thank you Grace Goodwin for another fantastic story! 😜

The follow-up to Her Mate's Secret Baby. Miranda Doyle had moved to Trion to help her friend Natalie care for her son by Councillor Roark. Now sure that she is ready for a mate and family of her own, Miranda asks Brax Doctor and agent for Roark if he is ready to find his mate. The subject is left unanswered, before Brax vanishes again.Several days later, learning that Brax is back from his assignment and that he is keeping his distance, Miranda is tested as a Bride and matched to a Prillion warrior and sent to join him. It is only after Brax goes to her quarters and finds a stranger there, that he learns that she is gone.Surprised on discovering that Miranda wanted more, Brax follows her to sort things out. Shocked to see her with another male, a Prillion Captain Trist Treval, a fight breaks out. With ships disappearing, a truce is called and it is only when they are threatened directly, that Trist and Brax work together to end the trouble.

Good read
Enjoyed this book. I liked the characters and the plot. Typical case of two people being too afraid to say how they feel. I didn't think it was all Brax' s fault as she also said that she didn't want commitment. Good story though.

Great read
I have read all the series and I loved this one. It is just a little bit different in the way Miranda gets her men but in a good way. No spoilers here!HEA all the way. Can't wait for the next one!

Sigh
I adore all the interstellar brides books and re-read them all from start to finish every few months. Just tell me which dimension I can find them and my bags are packed. Grace Goodwin you cannot write fast enough for my liking, but no matter, I will wait for the next one .

Brilliant
I'm not normally one for a love triangle type of book, but this was perfection. Grace Goodwin at her best.
