XstamperECO-GREEN 66210 VersaDater Message Dater, 2 1/8 x 1 5/16, PAID, Blue/Red

These Xstampers are really superior to the ones available at the local big-box office place. They stamp brighter, last longer and have a fresh date wheel. A date stamp I got at the local staple supply depot advertised a 12 year date wheel on the package, but when I got it open, it had started 8 years prior. And the ink was dried out - probably because it was 8 years old.... I returned it and bought this one here on amazon which had a date wheel that started last year. and the last one of these I had ran out of years before it ran out of ink..... Recommended.

1/29/2015 I received different dater than shown on the picture. It does not fit to my old base. It should be grey but I received blue (new model), that has different shape. So be aware.

It didn't work

These stamps are great. Imprints are crisp and built quality is excellent. On the other hand, it comes in two pieces you're supposed to put together. To do that you need to remove a part from each piece before the assembly, which cold be a little bit of a challenge if you never done it before. The manual that comes with the stamp is not clear and so tiny you want to use a magnifying glass.

We bought this date stamp to replace one for the previous 10-yr period. We had hoped the new inner date section would be compatible with the old custom outer section, which had my wife's name and title. When that didn't work I was able to remove the custom rubber stamp from the outer housing and replace the new one, which only had the word "PAID". Otherwise, the item was just what was needed.

I wanted a paid stamp with the date that was large! This fits the bill. I'm really pleased with the legibility of the stamp. I paid more for this item versus other stamps that were smaller and also less expensive but I have no regrets.

Would have helped if it came with clear instructions on how to assemble. Like all pre-inked stampers, it will eventually start to dry out.

This thing stamps PAID like a mutha-effing CHAMP. Assembly is actually not as intuitive as one would think, but I trust you'll figure it out. I SURE DID.
