Simple and easy to use kit for kids but buy some fabric glue first
===Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the manufacturer and always write from my true experience. But please note that I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.===Review begins:My middle grandchildren have gotten a real blast out of this kit. It comes with enough pieces for them to make the 3 animals mentioned, the lion, the gorilla and the ostrich. One of the things we discovered early on is that the"glue" supplied is cheap and not enough to make everything. The glue may as well be flour paste for how well it does NOT hold. I just swung by a fabric store and got some. End of problem, but I AM deducting one star for the lack of quality and quantity of the included glue. It's always a joy to hear the kids laughing and playing. As with any toy like this parental guidance is suggested and there are a few small parts so it is not really suitable for kids under age 3. You will find that a quick readthrough of the instructions will help you and the kids out. There is also additional instructions for making accessories for the animals. The end results are cute as all get out, but remember that they are very similar to pipe cleaner animals so they won't take being smashed or cuddled too hard.Still a good project kit for smaller kids,End of Review===Thank you for taking a minute out of your busy life to read my review. Really great craft kit was very inspiring to my children
My children, ages four and seven, were very inspired by this make your own fuzzy animals craft kit. While it was a little bit beyond my four-year-old, with help, my seven-year-old was easily able to create the projects in this book. We worked together on them and were able to re-create the two projects we tried. My four-year-old daughter also had fun with us, being inspired by the pictures and doing her own thing with gluing pom-poms together. The inspiring photos and clear instructions are the strong suit of this kit. The little booklet makes it clear and easy how to create the projects, and the photos were engaging and exciting for my kids to want to craft. So many craft books, they guide you in making something that you don't actually want to keep afterwards, but this one is great that we actually wanted to keep and display these projects once they were done.

Very cute and fun but not enough glue
This craft activity would have gotten a 4 star review except for the fact that they don't give you nearly enough glue. You are supposed to be able to make 3 animals and there wasn't even enough glue to finish one. However, getting extra fabric glue is easy, and that's why the rating didn't go lower than 3. They are really cute and soft and are a fun activity. I'd suggest that the manufacturers include a bottle of glue that's about 4 times the size but, if not, make sure to order some fabric glue at the same time.1 star - awful! Want my money back!2 stars - bad but not horrendous3 stars - decent/good4 stars - really good!5 stars - awesome! Definitely recommend!

Well thought out craft, impressive results
I attempted this craft with my 5 year old and my 2 year old. My five year old loved it but it was a little challenging for my 2 year old. The kit is completely preassembled. Everything is cut out and instructions are detailed with easy to follow pictures for the kids. Makes impressive, super cute handheld soft toys that the kids take pride in because they made them themselves. My only complaint is that there were some certain pieces, like, not enough tan Pom poms but there was an extra white one. Extra gorilla ears but not a mouth. We made it all work though and they came out great.

difficult
The mechanics for this craft are not well thought out. The glue doesn't hold well. Difficult for a child to do as well as this adult.

Save yourself time and grief, buy fabric glue before gifting
My granddaughter was enjoying this kit very much, until everything she had completed started falling apart due to the the cheapest glue I've ever seen. It may as well be flour mixed with water (who knows, maybe it is). On top of that, there's barely enough supplied to assemble one of the three animals. She was very upset to see her work basically disintegrate, at first thinking it was her own fault. After a bit of comforting and reassurance, it was Pop-Pop to the rescue, taking a trip to the store to buy some decent fabric glue. The rest of the materials seem to be of good quality, the instructions are clear, and the one animal we managed to assemble (then reassemble) is cute. It's a shame all of this is overshadowed by such a simple, inexpensive item like glue, especially considering the asking price for this product.

Really cute activity, lots included, great for three little critters.
Nice project for a day of babysitting. We were able to spend a good hour on these, but keep in mind that the glue is so-so. We went with low-temp hot melt. Not as kid friendly, but a LOT less frustrating.each critter's body is based on a folded cardboard prism shape. The various bits are stuck in and/or glued to this. When all is said and done, you have three little - adorable - creatures. The Flamingo was the favorite. She grabbed all three when she left and I forgot to shoot photos of the finished Fussimals.
