you've been blessed and given proof that there is a higher power in some form.No lie, I cried when I pulled this charger out of its bag and plugged it in and saw the charge light come on.I'm genuinely overwhelmed by how sturdy this cable is, and that's not an over-statement. I'm difficult to impress. I have a resting... "meh" face, and a mindset to match. The meshing on the outside feels like a metal-material, and it's a decent length for utilizing the device while it's plugged in.This cord travels with me.In fact, I was reminded to write this review because I was looking through my past orders to find the maker of this cord so that I could see if they had one for another electronic device. I'm buying it immediately if it exists.Thank you for the existence of this cord.You will most likely not be disappointed if you decide to purchase this cord today.-- 6-Month Update: --Cord is still going strong and shows no natural wear or signs of slowing down, even after I accidentally ran it over with a Jeep (the metal meshing is a little squished now, though,) left it out to bake in the desert sun (after running it over as I went to work,) lost it at an amusement park (it was turned into lost and found thankfully,) and had it fall from a significant height (about two levels of stairwells.)Since there seems to be an issue with others purchasing similar wires that are of a poorer quality, (as evidenced by a reply to my review) purchased mine from "SZ-Capital," and I have ordered other products since then that have been of similar quality to this cord.I have yet to find any other devices that this brand/company makes cords for, but I would definitely purchase another of these if I needed it, and I'm planning on ordering another one as part of a New 3DS gift that I'm giving to my cousin for his graduation.Also, as a side note, the microfiber cloth that came with it did not survive it's 5th wash last month, but it led a good life and cleaned many screens. It was buried in a box of excess and/or damaged cloth and it is now a scrap of fabric in a friend's modern art piece.-- 11-Month Update: --Alas, my magical cord is no more, but it took quite a beating to bring it to its end.My cat jumped on my laptop, which is a heavy gaming computer. This would normally be fine, but silly me, I had left it about 1/4th off of the desk I was working at. Down goes the laptop onto its side, and my poor beloved cord happened to be plugged into a usb port on the side that hit the floor. While my computer was thankfully all right, the plastic bit around the metal usb plug went at a 90 degree angle, pulling the poor usb from its connectors.I was able to gently push the metal bit back in, but it only worked for a few moments before it died.I held the lifeless cord in my hands and thanked it for its service before placing it into the trash.(And then I felt guilty and took it out, and placed it into a memento box until I can reorder a new one and let go of the old one. Call me ridiculous, but I love this cord so much.)I'm reordering this product again because it was so worth every penny. The price has gone up a couple of dollars since I bought the original a little under a year ago, but it's still an amazing cord for the price!If you're looking for a reliable charge cord that will be a faithful and sturdy travelling friend, then you've found the right product for you!Yours will even likely last you well more than a year if you are not as rough with it as I have been!(RIP in peace, sweet original YUYIKES 3DS/New3DS/2DS cord. Lets be very honest with ourselves: how many of us have unused phone charger adapter lying around our houses? So why buy a big chunky nintendo 3ds charger if you don't have one when you can opt for a cable that is so much more practical? As a college student purchasing a Nintendo series handheld system since the Gameboy SP, having some big, obnoxious, and obviously for a game system charger is just not going to work when 1. charging space is limited and 2. I'm at my computer pretty much 24/7. If I usually plug my computer into the socket and charge my phone from the usb port, why cant I charge my 3DS xl the same way?Pros1. This cable is LONG. It's even longer than the cable for my phone and I thought that was long.2. It's portable despite it's length.3. It's very convenient as it can be plugged into one of the adapters that I'm not using or a computer and still work the same way.4. It charges very very fast from an adapter and laptop and it charges even during use with the brightness full, power saver off, wifi on and 3d on.5. The mesh wiring just looks so damn cool. Even as a sorta stereotypical female I do love how sick this charger looks. Extra points because it keeps me from destroying it as I'm prone to.Cons1. The micro fiber cleaning cloth is ehh. Not really very micro fiber-y and I find it just smears the fingerprints around rather than actually cleaning the screens. I have a skin on my 3DS so I'm not bothered by fingerprints on the outside but, in all honesty you can really use the edge of your shirt and it works better.2. Not really a deal breaker but I hope the company makes more colours soon because I'm really not a fan of yellow but this charging cable is so damn good it won't cost any stars.In conclusion, this cable literally just makes sense. It's the 21st century not 1998 where plugging a charging cable into a computer is a foreign concept. For the love of peace, my 3 year nephew found a battery 2 months ago and was very confused as to it's purpose. Let's move ahead with the times. 10/10, would definitely buy again, and stuff every stocking in my neighbourhood with one for Christmas.

Love this item! It is now our favorite charge cord. Charges very quickly compared to the OEM cords we have but don't isesnymore. This USB cord is nice since can use it in the car or at home and only have to carry one charge cord. It is also an economical way to get a charge cord of you have or get a new system that doesn't come with one. The cord has a mesh wrapping that protects it from abrasions and scuffs and is very high quality. It is now the only charge cord we use. It's great and long too. Iwas very pleasantly surprised at the quality/value of this product and will buy more as needed or for gifts.

My old 3DS charger had been building up corrosion from years of humidity, so I figured I might as well get a USB cable for convenience. So I bought one of these.Supplies the juice it should off USB 3.0 for a steady charging light while powered on, and seems sturdy.But golly is that plastic coating stiff. And abrasive. Not very pleasant to handle.And of course, no 2DS or 3DS comes with a charging port capable of data transfer.
