Exactly what I expected. My Japanese tea tastes wonderful and looks fresh green every time I pour, unlike my ceramic kyusu. It's nature of the product that is brittle/will easily break. Very happy with the purchase.

Such great value. I use it every morning and couldn't be happier. If you're having difficulty with it "leaking" from the top while pouring, make sure no herbs are sitting in the indentation at the top - where lid meets pot. xx

This pot looked folmsy when it arrived, but I toll a leap of faith and started using it. It worked well for a week, but then it started leaking from the bottom. I don't see any crack outside or the inside but there is leak so water starts spilling out. Won't Recommend it.

Beautifully design with an excellent stainless steel strainer.

Came expertly packaged. Love the size and convenience--they match my sipping pace well. The strainer is something I am not used to but it's allows me to dump spent leaves without multiple rinses.

Aus meiner Reise nach Japan vor einem Jahrzeint hatte ich mir eine Kyusu-Teekanne mitgebracht. Vor Kurzem ging sie kaputt und ich habe diese Isshin L228 Teekanne als Ersatz bestellt. Bei gleichem Fassungsvermögen wiegt die neue nur halb so viel. Der Innensieb ist auch besser. Ich bin zufrieden.
