Exactly What I was looking for
I was looking for the perfect skirt for an outdoor wedding in November (I'm the mother of the groom). This one is perfect! Im 5'2" 138lbs so I didn't want something that was going to overwhelm me. It's a nice "Aline" skirt but isn't too poofy like some of the others I've tried. It is too long but Im thinking once I get my heels on it will be fine. It will be nice and warm too...thinking of pairing it with a white or off-white cotton wrap blouse.

As expected (good and bad)
(Background info: I’m 5’4.5 ft tall and weigh between 155 and 160 lbs, I normally wear size medium in stretchy material and large in non stretch) I love the look of the skirt! It’s exactly what I was looking for! That being said when I buy other colors I will be going a size up because the medium is giving me a mini muffin top, I wasn’t expecting an elastic waist band but there’s no stretch to this material whatsoever so just be honest with yourself about your waist size (hip size doesn’t seem to matter much for me in this). The length is a tad long but I normally have this problem with skirts so it wasn’t unexpected, it’s about three inches too long but I normally have this problem with skirts so I wasn’t surprised by this. Overall I will definitely by this skirt again in different colors albeit a size up and I’ll have to wear heels with it unless I sew it at the base.

DIY is great to work with!
The skirt was beautiful and fit really well. It was very well made and made a beautiful skirt for my daughters prom dress. She wore a beautiful lace top and looked stunning! The waist band is a little wide-just as pictured, but that was my daughters only complaint -that she wished the waist band was narrower.

Absolutely loved.
I’m 5’8” and wear a size 16 normally. With the size chart I sized up just to be safe. It got here super quick and fit perfectly!! It goes to the floor and then some. Not a crazy ton but just enough. So pretty. Well made. Nice heavy quality fabric. Flattering. Beautiful a line flare. POCKETS!! I ordered a petticoat to make it a bit puffier but it’s really full and doesn’t stick to your body which I was afraid of so I probably won’t use it. The packaging was nice. Not the cheap stuff. No problems. No weird smell. Absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend.
