I couldn't use this with my program.

Great item..

The BodyBugg is a very cool device; however after owning one for 2 years I can tell you that the armband straps break very quickly. The glue they use to hold the elastic into the band does not hold up very long at all. Secondly, the biggest downside to the BodyBugg is that it is worthless to you without their 9.95 per month subscription service. When you purchase the BodyBugg, in the very fine print is a note that you receive 6 months "free". Yes you are free for 6 months to use a device you paid for. After that, you pay Apex to use a device you own. Once that time had expired, I became very unhappy with having a device I paid $179 for and could not use it without a subscription from Apex. There is no stand-alone software that allows you to get the data off the BodyBugg to see your calories burned, steps, etc. Apart from the armbands needing frequent replacing, I enjoyed the device, until the "free" to use the device I owned became pay 9.95/month to use the device I own. That got old fast. I can tell you that now, I wish I had not invested in the BodyBugg due to it being worthless without paying 9.95 per month. Go get yourself another device that you own and doesn't cost $120/year to use.

This is by far the WORST weight loss gadget I have ever used. Setting it up is a pain (took me 3 full days, and 2 calls to tech support), then forget about linking to your iphone/ipod. Even when all of that is finally set up, the bloody thing stalls, does not work and gives innaccurate information. I had 9,829 steps at 7pm then at 7:20 I had a total of 216. I went back a day to see if it reset, but the entire week it said 000000. It doesnt record any of my progress, the nutrition feature is not at all user friendly. In addition, after the initial 6 months you pay almost 200 dollars a year for the useless subscription. With all the great gadgets, and free resources online, I dont know why anyone would want to fork up all this money on such a frustrating, impossible to use , innaccurate product. Two thumbs DOWN.

I would buy it again if i need another. the seller were great. everything went smooth. and on top of everthing else. i have lost weight with the bodybugg...........

I will say that this program has worked for me for 8 weeks I've lost 33 lbs. Here is the problem i have a bodybugg sp and it has never worked right with the iPhone. If you sync with the iPhone and then a mac you get way different results. Yesterday the system just stopped working for me and my wife. Nothing will sync and the program just stalls. We have tried it on several different mac's in the home and it won't work anymore. Now both of our armbands hare totally reset and we can't even reset them up. Customer service is closed on weekends so you can't get help. #FailI will be posting this on amazon reviews and selling the bodybugg on ebay

item is good to give you a basic measurement of calories burned. you are pretty much forced to buy their on line system in order to do simple updates such as a time change. online software is hard to use and confusing. I have to create a complicated password just to log in. Apparently Bodybugg is afraid someone may steal my healthy results. the armband is already starting to stretch out from wear with less then a year of use. they could have done a lot better with this device.
