Voltron Legendary Defender VOL 3 #3 Cvr A Yamashin Comics – September 12, 2018

Volume 3 of the comics series expansion, which covers between-episodes adventures of the show, begins in media res. We see the team line up circa season 5-ish engaged in battle with a Galra fleet that is attacking a planet of pachyderm people. (Minor spoilers ahead). They defeat the fleet, but the atmospheric damage they left behind is now causing massive eco-disasters all over the planet. Coran and Allura try to get help from the nearest Coalition leader, while the rest of the team tries to battle the angry elements. Only, this Coalition leader is not very cooperative, and the Galra come back. How will they save these people and what are they going to do about recalcitrant Coalition leaders? The story handles these problems satisfactorily and leaves enough questions (What is 'the information' Allura keeps referencing and is afraid to use? How are they supposed to succeed in their mission when Haggar is spying on them?) to keep readers wanting more.
