Kakadu Concealed Kelly Oilskin Vest, Classic Worker Style with Hugh Inside Pockets

Fells very durable and I like the way it looks and fits. My Beretta Nano with LaserMax fit the holster perfectly. The pistol sits perfectly vertical at your side. The mag holders are immediately inside the opening. A 1 1/2 inch piece of Velcro keeps the pocket closed and opens easily. I couldn't detect any printing. It looks like the sewer forgot to trim the excess thread. I trimmed it all. The collar is some kind of leather although I can't tell what kind (kangaroo?). It is soft and supple. I cut 4 inches off the waist cinch straps and I may trim another 2 inches. I don't know why they are so long (8 inches) to begin with. This vest is for cool to cold weather. You will roast if it is 75 degrees and sunny. I knocked off a star for the leftover threads and cinch straps, but it is a nice vest. I recommend it.

I wasn't aware Kakadu Traders made this vest in oilskin (major plus!), and with it also being cotton lined rather than flannel/fleece lined, you can wear it in the cooler (not cold) months. It is very functional and it also looks great!

Just received this vest & it is unbelievably awesome. I’ve been looking at carry vests for a couple of years now & this covers all of the bases for me. Well made, sized perfectly & all of the required pockets. The fact that it’s oilskin is a bonus. The carry holster is placed somewhat around your body, closer to your side than the front of your body which eliminates any bulge or sag like I’ve seen in other products.If I were to possibly make one change, it would be to slightly cant the “holster” to the front for an easier draw angle.
