Batman: Arkham Origins Limited Edition Strategy Guide

This is a gorgeous book (as far as strategy guides go) I don't believe the photos show, but the hardcover is actually black with the Batman logo, the b&w image is a dust jacket. Which can be laid flat out, for a poster itself. Plus it comes with four heavy stock portraits of Batman in two different poses, the Joker and Deathstroke. Was kinda disappointed one of them wasn't Blackmask, but that is minor and and doesn't really matter since I just put them back in the guide. I mostly like it for the game room coffee table with the previous two guides and the rest. But more importantly, the content is well written and visually appealing and helpful. When the Riddler challenges are driving you nuts, or the knife/electric thugs are driving you nuts, it's 3 am and you just don't care to see another "Haha Bats, I thought you'd be tougher" type death screen, out this baby comes. :-)

I know other reviews are having problems with the kindle version, which is the same version that I am. I don't have a kindle hd (just a plain old kindle) so I'm using kindle cloud to read this. and I'm not having any issues making the screen bigger and its working perfectly for me. The guide is wonderful it will help to get all the collectibles and all the secrets hidden in this game. Also if you have purchased Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate there is a walkthrough section for that game as well (and its a good enough guide even though it really just explains the what each button does, and shows you a map of each location and where every item is etc, and a boss guide but no really written walkthrough for BLACKGATE) overall I would give this a 9/10

Very nice guide book , covers most DLC`s too. If you wan`t to complete Origins , you will need this book. Even if you don`t have the game , the art work is worth the price of admission !

I loved this guide. It was detailed and organized and laid out wonderfully. I didn't feel like I had to HUNT for what I was looking for. I only gave it 4 stars for one reason. Although the guide is wonderful and it comes with AMAZING Lithograph type pictures, the information in the guide, while detailed, was sometimes wrong. When I was working on getting all the data packs and it was telling me the location or had a pic above the wording, it was often times wrong. So finding the data packs were at times a hassle, and confusing because the information I was looking at was wrong. Other than that, the guide really is good, and I love it! I normally don't buy gaming guides AT ALL, there are very few games I enjoy that I want the guides from, and the Arkham series guides have really never disappointed. Even with the flaws I would buy this guide.

Good, informative guide. Tells what to do and when to do it. Plus, it tells about the side quests. How to begin them (they are not necessary to finish the game) and how to perform them if you wish to accept these extra challenges.

This is my favorite Batman game of the Arkham series. I think the story was brilliant. The gameplay was fun and this series continues to push the bar. I love, love the Arkham series. And this title specifically is my favorite of the lot...just because of how fun the storyline is and how great the villains & the boss-fights are. Plus operating out of the Bat-Cave (FINALLY) freaking rocks!

These games are getting vast and bigger each time, but in round 3, this origins background story is cool ! Learn how the BATMAN got his start in crime fighting and kicking ass. If you need help novices, stop getting lost and get this strategy guide. It is time for you gamers to open up that can of whoop ass one more time... the BATMAN needs you !!

Book was very easy to follow, put together very well and had great pictures to make it easier. I did not need the book for the main story line, but was very helpful for all the Ridddler trophies and to find all the hidden trophies.

I am into Batman Arkham Series and Into Strategy Guides. The highlight of the books is the tips and trick for various section along with Guide to the Batman Arkhma Blackgate. Not to mention the kool set of Lithograph with this guide make it worthy a pick. plus the book has dust cover which is a plus too.

I purchased this as a collectibles item and after flipping through it was really impressed with it. The prints that came with it were outstanding in quality and detail. The hardcover was really nice, bind was exceptional and the thick gloss stock paper used really made all the images and art from the game really pop from the page. As for the quality as a strategy guide, I never used it to play the game or help me resolve any part I was having a problem with.

Perfect game, perfect book!

Beautiful art work and great story walk through. Buy as collectors piece. A book of art. Love it. Any fan of the games will find this useful to unlock all missions and achievable trophies.
