Pricey but probably worth it if you're an aficionado
I was pretty hesitant to spend close to 40 bucks on this when lots of cheap alternatives abound, but I think the nanoquartz coating really does make a difference, as does the precision of the machining. On my Quickmill V2BE, my pucks ranged from loose to downright soupy depending on how well I had tamped and ground, etc. With this, I'm getting totally dry, intact pucks, and the flavor is rich and deep. The nanoquartz coating ensures the grinds just slide right out. I tend to give it a rinse before pulling the next, but you could get away with not doing that if you were looking for speed. I also like that the basket holds 15g exactly. That gives me a perfect amount of espresso for my smaller Americanos and lattes. Quality over quantity.I probably wouldn't recommend spending the money on this if you're using something like a Breville or whatever, but if you're an espresso aficionado with a good prosumer machine and you're always chasing the next level in your espresso game, this is for you.

Pretty good but the stream doesn't come together
Pretty much as advertised. Puck slips out nicely, and you do have to grinder finer. The extraction tastes more even, which was surprising because I didn't expect to be able to tell. The main downside is that the stream doesn't come together in the middle. It comes out more as a rainshower.

Game Changer
I have an Lelit Elizabeth v3 + Eureka Silenzio. The portafilter that came with the Lelit would channel every time. No matter what I did, it would channel. Output espresso mass with respect to grind was not consistent.I tried this portafilter after exhausting all my options. This filter fits in the Lelit portafilter holder. After the first, shot everything started working. I get consistent espresso out for a specific grind setting. I can actually tune the espresso flavor with this portafilter. This is a game changer for me.Reading this back, this sounds like the MFR writing a biased review - but I kid you not, this was a night and day difference in performance. I plan to purchase the 18g variant soon.

Great precision basket, anti-static to get clean pucks

better value exists out there, fellow coffee lovers
This is an adequate basket. However, there is better value out there for the same price point. Better machining, heavier gage material. eg. VST or Pullman. Those among us with a gifted palate may argue that such alternatives result in a better tasting shot as well.

Expensive, but with my Rancilio Silvia, it really makes a difference
Silvia is famous for needing new coffee ground just so, and that can be difficult. With my baratza, sit on one of his finer levels, I get great espresso.. That didn't happen with the Rancilio, rocky, or with a lot of other baskets I tried over the years

Good extractions, Not Magnetic
This doesn't work well with my magnetic tools, even my SWORKSDESIGN funnel with its super strong magnets. The espresso is consistent and tasty though.

Nice dry pucks with smaller dose
My breville oracle basket seems to hold at minimum 20-21g while still providing enough screen clearance and dry pucks. This basket allows me to dose 18g with sufficient clearance and dry pucks.I don't buy the logic that IMS baskets can only be dosed with their suggested doses - feels like people blindly repeating the same nonsense. I've tried multiple dose sizes and 18g worked best for me, find what works best for you.
