"Sew" very happy
I purchased this Bernina for two reasons: (1) I currently have a Bernina 910 that is more than 30 years old and (2) I wanted to upgrade, but did not want to break the bank. So with Bernina's product offerings switching out, this was a good time to buy new. This machine is the lowest level of the 5 series that Bernina offers. After extensive due diligence, a great deal of dithering after I found this machine from this retailer--I felt that I would be sorry if I let it get away. The Retailer provided exceptionally prompt communication and exceptional service. Buy with confidence from this Retailer.02/02/20 Update: I would note that my price point + bundle was much more attractive than what is now being offered. ($1699 v. 2199) so while the machine is great in every way, the price point and package composition is not comparable and I would subtract all of my breathless accolades on the price point/value.

Great professional machine
I purchased this machine last month. I love the way it sews it has a smooth dtitch upon stitch and sews like a dream, I purchased my first Bernina 1001 several years ago and really liked it. I decided it was time for newer machine and glad I made this purchase. I do a lot of home dec and garment sewing and the I needed a professional and quality machine and after doing research found this to be the perfect machine for me.
