8" x 16" Soffit Vents - White - Box of 12

Yes these soffit vents are lightweight and flexible, if they get a bit bent, it's easy to straighten. As an older DIY'er I appreciate the lighter weight when installing. They're not supposed to provide any structural strength, just let air in and keep critters out - seem to do that well. Ordering another box. Wish they didn't charge so much for shipping, though.

Yes, "it's just a soffit vent" but the metal is so flimsy and cheap that you could probably rip it with your bare hands. Oh, it looks nice... but bends up like Reynolds Wrap when you try to install it. The soffit vents they are replacing are MUCH thicker.. but they were really gunked up. Decided to power wash them and reuse. Just another junk item courtesy of Amazon. amazon's overall quality lately is making it easy for me to walk away.
