I use these for smoke fluid & applying grease in tight spaces for my model trains. I load the grease myself. Needle size is perfect for the light grease I use. I like I can measure the smoke fluid to refill smoke generator, not overfill, so I don't have to stop the engine. Also metal needle won't melt if it hits the heater in smoke unit. Syringe can use any size needle with Luer Lock design. I use blunt needles only!

Worked for my purposes. I was transferring paint from one pot to squirt bottles. Worked great. I did about 60 of them with rinses in between before the plunger have out ony first syringe.

If you are sucking oil better order a metal or glass one. buy the one that looks like has to rings around
