I really love this lock. I just wish the numbers were easier to read and perhaps they were painted with a neon colored paint instead of a black on stainless... In fact, I would like to see this whole lock be flat black with the letters being magenta or neon green or something easy for my 50-year-old eyes to read because man it is difficult to read these numbers. The installation was very easy. It's also very easy to reset the combination and overall this is a five-star product.

This was a perfect addition to our RV! No more going back inside to get the key to get our chairs out! Easy to install and use! Plus, it really looks nice on our Classic Silver Avion!UPDATE: This lock has been on our Avion for 16 months now as we full-time, exploring the US. We have been in all sorts of weather, from extreme heat and cold; snow and ice; rain and sleet, etc. etc! The lock still looks good and operates perfectly. No leaks, and no adverse effects from being exposed to everything mother nature has thrown at it (and us) for 16 months. Nearly every time we get into the compartment (which is several times a day, sometimes) we are thankful for this lock! The old key lock needed periodic lubrication (especially in wet/damp weather) to keep it operating smoothly. While a little lubrication wouldn't hurt this lock, it certainly doesn't need it near as often!We LOVE it! And it fit the side compartment on our 1986 34V perfectly!

I have an outdoor fridge on my RV. I wanted to be able to lock the door with a combo. It works great on those sorts of doors. I am ordering one for all my doors now.

The 1-3/8" version fits the standard .50 Cal Ammo Can (Harbor Freight or others) where the locking bar slides right into the space created by the lid's latching mechanism, after you cut/grind a slot through the can at that point. The locking bar is hidden and protected in that space after I shortened it a bit with a file.I mounted it by drilling a 5/8" hole with a carbide hole saw, in the lid. I then used a round file to elongate the hole to make a snug fit that locks in the assembly that can't be turned. 5/8" is the width of the narrow flat sides of the lock assembly and the rounded ends are 3/4" (plus or minus a tad).Some complain about the taper of the knurled knob to rotate the locking action, but I think the taper helps prevent the lock from being forced open by pliers or similar; the taper makes gripping a tool difficult.It is easy to set your personal combination and position the lock so when it is locked, the little hole used with a paperclip to set the combo is covered and not accessible. Nice lock box mounted behind my F250's rear truck seat with a 3/4" bolt through the ammo can, plastic tray, spacer and then floor, at an existing hole in the cab's underside reinforcement channel.

I was worried that this wouldn't do the trick for turning one of my drawers in my dresser into a secure door but to my surprise, it actually worked perfectly!Especially on the kind of drawer I have that has no handles. The only way I could see getting into this is to actually use a pry bar or rip apart the drawer. Plus it's somewhat discrete! Maybe people I know are just oblivious but nobody that has soon this dresser has mentioned it.It was also very easy to install with the instructions. 5-stars from me!

As it turns out (Ha! Get it?!!) these aren't quite made for any hole but the obround holes for standard ¾" locks. The washer that's included could hold the lock in, say, a plywood door that has a bigger hole, but our doors (rv storage compartments) have a ⅞ hole and they're made of fibreglass and a would-be thief could grab these with pliers and just turn, the teeth on the washer would never hold, probably not in plywood either so....The lock itself is built quite solidly, but you should add a gasket to properly seal the hole.

Replaced one key lock on our 2000 Dynamax Motorhome on each storage bay. Instructions leave a little to be desired but I got it figured out. Nice to simply closed the door and twist the knob when you are loading/unloading and want access but need the door out of the way. Also ads security since I have read that the older Motorhome keys are frequently the same so others can gain access. Set your own combination. Hard to read in the dark however. Fit perfectly. Recommended.

These were relatively easy to install. Note the head of the dial is larger than the key in the stock locks. I had little finger hooks that went behind the locks and i could not reuse them because they interfered with the lock sitting flush in the door. Make sure you measure the shank for how thick your door is. They come south a bunch of hardware to make sure you have exactly what you need

Quality is there in this product. Took a little work to figure out the configuration for the style of key lock I removed. But they fit nicely on my Forest River Surveyor trailer and have made things more accessible and secure. Will be curious to see how they hold up in the rain. Make sure you change and test lock code before trying it on cargo door. If you mess up that process you may not be able to get your door open. FYI.

Easy to install and was a great addition to my trailer to allow easy access to the compartments without a need for keys.

My husband said it was easy to install. He feels much more comfortable with his tools locked up with a lock that not most trailers have the same key to.
