Good value fitness tracker - no integrated GPS though!
This is a very nice and relatively easy to use fitness tracker. After reading the title, I bought the watch thinking it was GPS enabled; I was, however, wrong. I will review as a pedometer only. The screen is bright and the the watch face easy to read, although the text is a little small for my ageing eyes. It looks smart and there are options available for the watch display, including swapping the background to a custom image, which I did not try.I installed the app easily and set up the watch which my GooglePixel2 found so quickly I didn't realise and thought the picture was a stock one and I kept searching for the watch! After inputting my details into the app it was good to go.It allows selection of different activities, however I only tried walk and run. The walk measurement seemed fairly accurate using the default stride length it pick for me. Running wise the distance was not that accurate so may require some adjustment in the settings.Heart rate seemed accurate at rest although there were times when walking when it seemed to measure high, I do have a low heart rate which does seem to confuse some heart rate monitors. It will integrate and display alerts / messages from a range of apps, I only tried SMS and Whatsapp and they displayed ok although for whatsapp I couldn't obsviously see how to reread a message after the first display.I have returned the watch as I really want to have accurate run data without needing to bring my mobile. It is a shame as I quite liked to watch. I would recommend it for kids, walkers and people interested in tracking general activities. I am considering purchasing the higher model when my refund comes through.Using it for 1 day, the battery reserve was at 75% which seemed ok to me.

The heat sensor button sucks...
I've had this watch for 4mths now and feel able to review it. The first month or so it was a novelty and i enjoyed checking my sleep hours and heart rate and personalising the watch face, which i liked a lot and I overlooked some of the irritating issues which i had noticed early on,However, those irritating overlooked issues have now become more problematic and make me not want to bother wearing it.The first thing which is annoying is the fact that the touch button is on the front of the watch and switches on and between functions seemingly by itself, for example whilst one is asleep or brush against one's or someone else's body; maybe a few times here and there isn't an issue, but this happens the majority of time the brightness has been turned right down so the watch info can't be clearly read, i can't say the number of times the watch has powered off or reset, sometimes daily. So much so I've stopped adding personalised pictures as they get reset so many times. Or i wake up and the watch has reset,i have to find my phone to update the app to update the watch, which in that instance the watch is useless as i now have a my phone in my hand which is showing me the correct time!!! This occurrence happens at least twice a week. Sometimes shaking it for it to show me the time doesn't work or I tapped it and it moved on to heart rate or step counter, so i have then go through each individual page to get back to the time, which is very annoying... it's all just long and what's the point?!Lately when charging the battery symbol no longer shows when fully charged, no matter how long it has been left on charge - I did a test and left it all day to charge and came home and it still showed as half charged. I have tested this and surprisingly, even though it shows half charge, I still will get at least 3/4 days of power, which is good - extra star for that!!I'm still not so convinced about the accuracy of the heart rate readings, or the step counter. Also, every other day or so, it will show a coding screen (I don't what its called - see pic), the first time it happened I was concerned but nothing magical happens.I have only tried the training section once for cycling, it is a bit of a pain to start it and it didn't see worth it to bother...I had programmed it to receive messages; for some reason it has stopped doing this, maybe when it reset itself? I haven't even bothered to set it up again. It does however vibrate when calls come in, which I must admit, I do appreciate this, as I never hear my phone. Sadly for me, that feature is the only feature i will miss when i eventually stop using this watch, that day is coming soon, believe...This watch could be brilliant, it just needs to have a slightly different design, the heat sensored face does not work at all, it needs a side button that can be pressed to initiate whatever section of the watch is needed. This was my first "smart" watch, will I get one again? Not sure, I would not spend hundreds of pounds on one. If i had to buy another budget smart watch, I would say, it's a no from me.

Basic, cheap and simple to use
Really good product for its price. Initially I wanted a smart watch for swimming only and after buying one and returning it straight away, I found this watch. If you’re looking for all the bells and whistles of an Apple Watch, don’t bother buying this. This watch is basic but has some good features. It’s very easy to use however it’s a single tap to cycle through the menu with no option of going back so you’ll be tapping away if you go past what you wanted to click on. Battery life is great as haven’t charged for 4 days now. Customisable screen which is a nice feature and ideal for monitoring your sporting needs. The strap however is quite small for my wrist. So if you’re like me and have a larger wrist, you might want to buy a bigger strap. It alerts me to messages and phone calls and displays them clearly but again if a message has emojis like an android or IOS they won’t come up. They show as ?

Great five star customer service!
I bought this watch in August 2019, and was really pleased with it. It had a really accurate pedometer, much more accurate than my previous smart watch from a different company, which had cost me a three figure sum! The battery life was quite outstanding, again much much better than my previous watch! Even after a fortnight it would still work, though it was clearly time to recharge it then!Everything seemed to function well on the watch, and it connected easily with my iPhone. The Da Fit app was good.My only problem was reading the dial in bright sunlight. Otherwise it was bright and clear.Sadly when I recharged my watch a week ago, when I tried to use it next, it had died! This is where the customer service comes in.I was sceptical before trying, and thought I would be fobbed off. I was so wrong! Within hours of contacting them, I had a helpful reply from Angela. This helpful contact continued for a day or two, and then Angela said they would like me to have a replacement watch, but that they were out of stock. She offered me an alternative, a DoSmarter Verpro. I accepted this and received this a few days later. It is a lovely watch, with great features, and the battery life seems to be as good as the previous watch.Well done DoSmarter Customer Service! It is great to deal with a company which you can trust. Thank you Angela!
