Fun to make
Ok, it's not the highest quality of the Japanese Nanoblock. The manufacturer really needs to sort out how to support large panels like the base which flexes.BUT it went together well, it looks good, it was fun to make and was a lot cheaper.I already ordered another one of there models (St Basil's Cathedral) to make.

Excellent set
Good quality, good value. Well designed model and pieces. The instructions need to be very carefully followed, they could be a bit better.

Bad product and customer service
I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend and it was massively disappointing. Firstly, they could not get the base built properly as it kept warping (see pic). If they tried to build the rest of the model on top of it, the warping just made the pieces break off. I contacted the manufacturer and they basically said it was user error and this was the first time they had heard about it. Reading other comments this is not the first instance of this happening and I have not heard back from them since! Avoid at all costs.

Excellent build
Had great fun building this model. Well made building bricks that fit together well. It looks really good once done and on the shelf with a light behind it. Would recommend if you like a challenge and working with small fiddly bits. Very satisfying.

Fun but flimsy
I honestly can’t say if this set brought me more joy, or frustration.First, the blocks are packed into multiple bags, but if you think each of them is needed for each step, think again. I had to open almost all of them before even finishing the podium. Went quickly after that, and it was fun to see how the giant pile of blocks got smaller and smaller as I kept building. The second problem is much worse though: the structure is flimsy. Even the base is made of multiple smaller elements, so every time you want to press a piece in place or lift the whole thing to try to see something better, you risk breaking the entire structure in half. Also, some elements don’t fit very well – perhaps you could force them into place, but then you risk breaking the base. Some elements are not connected to the main structure in any way, so it’s best to assemble them separately and add at the end. I even consider using glue to keep it together, but I still think that maybe one day I’ll want to dismantle it and build it again. Blu Tack maybe.Overall it was okay, but would be much less frustrating if it was more stable.

it is a fairly tough build
Do you want a challenge? Here it is. Be smart. Do not follow the instructions to the letter. Look ahead. Pre fabricate things. Put them aside to be added at the right point. It is not a bad build. But it is hard as some points. Do not expect L**O style precision. You get what you pay for. Also the size makes it a bit fidly. But with a bit of smarts the build can be a satisfying experience. The aforementioned inventor of the building blocks often makes it all too easy to build. Not so here, you sometimes need to interpolate the instructions, look ahead and do things out of the order indicated. I hope this helps.Regrets of purchasing? At times I had them. When I was a little frustrated. But eventually I found a better way of doing things and managed to get it together. This is not a bad product. Just approach as a complicated puzzle and not an "easy walk".

Isolation perfection
There's no doubt the instructions leave a little to be desired, and some of the build design is too structurally unsupported, but goodness me, the amount of time this filled made it all worthwhile. To buy the equivalent in full-size Lego (which now looks comically enormous to me) would cost hundreds of pounds. That it's far, far tinier doesn't mean it takes any less time to build, so the value for money is out of this world.Obviously you're not getting Lego's incredibly high standards, but as is so often the case with Nanoblock builds, I had about an extra hundred pieces spare at the end, and none missing. Very happy middle-aged boy.

Excellent
I was skeptical that it arrived in a not particularly presentable generic black box since it was intended as a present. However, the set gave my 10yo “LEGO professional” immense joy, especially when he completed it by the end of the day working tirelessly for 12 hours straight!! Indeed, one has to be ready to sacrifice his fingers pressing these tiny pieces into places and struggling to take off some incorrectly placed. But the finished product is well worth the effort!! (according to my son)
